I have some very old photo's I'd love to share of my G. Grandfather Benjamin Tyler and family who came from Marion Co., OH to St. Louis in a covered wagon in 1900. Benjamin was the youngest known son of Randall Tyler who came from Maine to Ohio around 1800 sometime. Ben was born in Ohio in 1852 and died in Michigan in 1935.

I have sure enjoyed your website and reading the information therein. I am a descendant of John & Jane Christman who were residents of your community. Jane died in 1885 and John died in 1891. I have been looking for information about them. They were my great great great grandparents! I hope to visit your museum and city soon. Thanks for all you do. Sincerely, Cheryl Robison

Great site. Stiles Kennedy is my Great Great Grandfather. After reading about all his achievements and all that he was a part of, it makes me feel like I should at least get another job!!!

We owned a home at one time in Blanchard, MI that was built by one of the Mason brothers who owned the Ford dealership in Blanchard. The Masons must have frequented the Park Hotel since we found some of the leather keyholders in the home with the Park Hotel & Mineral Baths imprinted on them. If you do not have any of these, I would gladly donate one to you for your display. Please contact me at my email address.

Hello all who have family history in the St. Louis area.
I am continually researching family names of Bailey, Quidort, Henry, Woodmansee, Ruch, Crum, Fach, Slack, Pourchot, Ruse, Wright, Harrison, Smith, Schultheiss, Hearn, Andrus, Bebee, Bebow, Stanton, Ryckman, Brown, Heath, Davis, Devereaux, Hawkins, Humphrey, Jessup, Kiter, Kohler, Krick, McLane, Piatt, Pritchard, Pruden, Ryder, Sechler, Stoner, Travis, Tuttle, Utman, White and Wiltshire. All of these names are related to me and have lived in this area since St. Louis was settled in the 1850s. I have found much information regarding these families and I am glad to share with anyone that is interested.
Thanks for this message board!
