How did you find my site? Through Google searches. I have visited it several times.
Comments:
I have enjoyed visiting this site, and have gained information from it. I am descended from Julius C. Hacker and Elizabeth Beeler Hacker, son of Joseph Hacker. Julius C. and family lived in Grainger County, but the youngest son, William Houston Hacker was born in Roane Co. in 1846. So they must have visited "the folks" occasionally. Julius C. moved his family to Missouri in 1859. He is the Julius mentioned in the court records about Joseph Hacker's will.

My grandfather is John Mayton who was born in Manchester, TN and my late father and his siblings were told that their grandfather on the Mayton side rode into Manchester on a horse. His past was always a mystery to them.
