5. GEORGE PACK FRISBEY was b 11 July 1803 in Lus(z)ern Co., Pennsylvania, he died 11 Nov 1848, in Dewitt Co, IL. He is buried in Fremont Cemetery, Funks Grove Twp, and McLean Co., IL. He md. 1st Phoebe HARRIS on 10 Oct 1822 in Morgan Twp, DeWitt County,OH.
Child of this marriage Lydia FRISBEY. Other records say no children born to this union. She died prior 1829.
He Md 2nd Sarah Ann BYRAM 19 Mar 1828/9 in Roxbury Twp, Washington County OH. He died 11 Nov 1848 in Dewitt County IL and is buried Funks Grove Cemetery, McLean County IL.

of March 1829 Mr. George P. Frisby and Miss Sarah Ann Byram were legally
joined in marriage by me a Justice of the Peace for said County. Given

Sarah Ann was born about 1810, VA or NJ, (another source shows she was born in Roxbury, OH.) She died 1879 in Independence, Jackson County MO. She is buried in Hopewell Cemetery, Down Twp, McLean Co, IL. She is the daughter of William BYRAM and Diana GIBSON.(for more on Sarah see chapter 2, Byram lines.)

George Pack FRISBEY I, was a land owner in Morgan and Washington counties, Ohio. He bought land 60 ˝ Acres from Samuel B. Nott husband of Amy Van Clief, whose family along with the Cheadle’s and Van Clief families arrived in the area about the same time. He married Sarah Ann BYRAM 19 Mar 1829 in Roxbury Twp, Washington Co., OH. (Washington Co later became Morgan Co OH.) They lived in Zanesville Ohio where he served as Justice of The Peace and operated a ferry over the Muskingum River.
Deeds in Roxbury Twp, Morgan County OH. under the name of George P and Sarah A FRISBEY indicate they bought 100 acres from Samuel B. Knott for $250. and later owned 100 acres which they sold to John Bartlett, and James Harper for a total of $500. A deed dated 1837 in Marietta, Ohio is shown below: George would have been 34 years of age at the time of this transaction.
