Hello, I am interested in joining the SAR. I live in Mexico, Mo. I should be able to prove at least one ancestor as my cousin is a member of the DAR.

I have enjoyed looking at your page. I found a family member! Col. Jimmy Coy - coming from John Coy Sr. and John Coy Jr., of Maryland to Nelson County Kentucky, also my ancestors. I have not found a Reference Number for them through the DAR and am wondering if I could obtain the number from the Sons of the American Revolution.

I just stumbled upon your website today. I was searching the web to see what information is present about my grandfather, M. Graham Clark, aka, Grandly, to his grandchildren. His birthday is soon and I like to personally commemorate him each year. I was delighted to see his picture here and to be reminded of his passion for the SAR. Looking through your website was inspiring and I especially appreciated reading your description of the SAR medal. I appreciate very much that this SAR Chapter is part of my grandfather's legacy. Thanks for all you do.

I am thinking about joining the DAR, and I was researching my geneology. When I looked up Samuel Bridgewater, I saw that Stephen P. Mattox's ancestor is Samuel Bridgewater. My great-grandmother was a Bridgewater, and a direct descendant of Samuel Bridgewater. I recently changed computers, so I don't have the exact lineage at my fingertips, but I just thought it would be interesting to make the connection!
