Trying to trace any of my grandfathers relatives. He was the son of William Alexander Lasley who was the son of Nelson Lasley. That is as far back as I have been able to find. The 2 greats are buried in Schuyler County, Missouri. My grandfather is buried in Alma, Arkansas. Mostly I find people trying to prune the family tree on all sides.

My mother's family are the Lasley's from Liberal, MO and who descended from Matthew Lasley of Ohio. I have the entire genealogical history that my great uncle did many years ago tracing our roots back to Scotland. Everyone I have been able to contact about the my Lasley Family seems to get stumped at Thomas Lasley who was born about 1730, possibly in Ireland, but we're not really sure. We have it that he drowned in the French Broad River in Tennessee about 1773 while the family was moving to Illinois. His son James was born about 1771 in Virginia. I have read the book by Samuel Lasley, but cannot find anything there. Would appreciate any assistance.
