Hello: I was researching an old bible I have (to sell on e-bay). It's an American Bible Society antique dated 1834. Inside the front cover is hand written "George Slaters book" and on the inside back cover is a signature (first name worn off" last name "Slater" still barely visible. I don't know where it came from..but the dates seem to compare to your great grandfather's age. If you have any interest in it, let me know. kb

All of my information is packed away, but I know that my family is from England or Ireland. My dad, James Alphonso Kibbee, says we're from Ireland, but we're not sure. Guy Kibbee was a great or great-great-uncle. I believe he was my grandfather's brother.

Hey! Great page! My name is Sean Kibbee, I live in Ottawa, Canada, born June 3rd 1975. I stumbled across this site when I typed in "kibbee" on google.com. Not sure if we are related in some way, but I have been told Guy Kibbee(the actor) was related to us somehow if that helps any. If you have any kibbee questions you could always email me and I will ask my Grandfather who is 80 now and is a wealth of family information.
There is also a member of the Kibbee family who is actually in the geneology(spelling???) department of a University up here in Southern Ontario. If you have scoured the Internet I'm sure you have already found him by now as I had. He has accumilated much on the Kibbees from waaaayyyy back and I'm sure he could help you out alot considering the department he is in.
Like I said, let me know if I could be of more help-kibboy@hotmail.com
