I noticed that Henry Stevahn married Martha Marie Magstadt (born in Scotland SD) in 1918. My father's paternal grandmother was Christina Magstadt. She was married to Gottlieb Dietrich, who came from Neuburg South Russia as a boy of 12 in 1872. The Dietrich family was in the area of Scotland South Dakota for some time before homesteading in North Dakota in 1901. I am wondering if there was a connection between Christina Magstadt Dietrich and Martha Marie Magstadt Stevahn.

Great site, well done. I suggest that your text font be enlarged a bit, or diff. font...a bit small, hard to see against the grey background.
My Ger-Rus hertiage is from Gluckstal (Rieger, Ritter, Ott) and Neudorf (Hoffer, Schaeffer, etc.).
A daughter, Christina B: Gluckstal May 28, 1893, of Jakob Rieger and Katharina Ritter Rieger, married Leonard May 27, 1918. Christina was my aunt (died March 29, 1946 family farm, Wishek, ND).
I published the Rieger Family History 1988 (it is also published on the AHSGR Odessa Library), and have hard copies available.
I reviewed your Martel (l) family data on this site, but so no US direct connection to our Martel family, but I suspect there could be a connection in that Kassel is one of the Gluckstal Colonies and near Gluckstal, SR.
If you are interested in data, please let me know. The children of Christina and Leonard Martel are considerable, and some are involved in genealogical research.
Best regards,
Marv Hoffer
