Just surfing and saw the name Ben Alderson. My Grandmother's brother, Ben Alderson, disappeared as a young boy and never was heard from again. They lived in Baltimore, MD. My grandmother, Clydesdale was born 1886, so Ben would have been born so metime after that date.

I am a descendant of Joseph Alderson (Born 24 April 1736 in Arkengarthdale, Yorkshire England) who married Sarah Marriner in 1736. I have followed this family line down to the present day. My Grandmother - Hannah Alderson (nee Harker, born 1849 in Marrick Richmond York England) married 2 Aldersons, the second being my grandfather. I am unable to find any records of her first husband Thomas Alderson (born 1839 in Yorkshire England). They had 2 children Sarah Elizabeth (born 1871 in Islington Middlesex England)and John Thomas Henry (born 1875 in Nutfield Surrey England). Do you happen to have any knowledge of this line of Aldersons.
I am happy to share any information I have gathered relating to Hannahs second husband (Job) and their descendents.

Hi, I'm Nick Alderson from England. Our roots go back to my Grandfather, who was born in 1888. He came from Appleby, Westmorland, in the North of England. I have heard it said that nearly every body in Appleby has the surname Alderson! Although I can't confirm it! You might find more information on the Alderson surname if you look up Appleby on the Internet. Good luck.

Thomas W. Alderson, Jr. 1837 1906

Thomas William Alderson, Sr. 1807
I have Thomas William Alderson as an ancestor but mine dates back to the 1700 & 1800's. Also, they were based in Ark, Tenn. & KY. My particular ancestor was adopted by the Alderson's in the mid 1700's as his parents (Beaulieu) were killed by Indians and John Alderson (a travelling minister) took him in.
