Nancy Edrington was my great great grandmother and married Ransom Cosby of Orange County Indiana. Nancy named one of her daughters Isaphene, but her daughter Isaphene went through most of her life using the name Josephine; she married into the Baysinger family of Perry County.

You have one of the neatest genealogy websites I've ever seen! And, it doesn't stop with your family history -- you've got so many good links. In fact I've bookmarked your site to I can pull it up periodically!
It was just a quirk that I pulled it up -- none of the names mentioned in the on-line newsletter were related to me as far as I knew -- but, a Charles Morrison had married a Nettie Kesterson.
The Kesterson's is really the line I'm looking for -- so many of the Kesterson's didn't marry -- so, thought I might be able to find a Morrison related to a Kesterson. Then when I got into your website, came across the name Poole -- that is my Mother's maiden name -- and although I've traced some of our lines back 800 years or so, seem to come to a standstill with "Kesterson" and "Poole." My great grandfather, Nester Poole was quite a bit older that his wife, Ella Stephens, so he passed away shortly after his four children were born. I do know that Nester's father was Henry Poole who married Emily Langfitt -- but know nothing beyond that. All the members of my family came to America in the 1600s or early 1700s.
Was going to make a one or two sentence comment -- but, as you probably know, when you get into genealogy -- one tends to go on and on . . .
Oh, by the way, I'm a quilter, too -- and, so was my Mother, her Mother, and my great-grandmother -- and before that who knows . . .

My husband is related to a Lodewick and Maria Fischer who came to Saint John, N.B. in 1783 as United Empire Loyalists on the ship, "Esther", from New Jersey. Lodewick was a member of Col. van Buskirk's New Jersey Volunteers which likely fought on the British side in the Revolutionary War.
They changed their name to the English version (Ludwig Fisher) and in 1867 one of their grandsons , Charles, was one of the Fathers of Confederation in this country. The rest of the family were all successful and prominent citizens in Canada. I would like to know more about where they came from in the 1600s before New Jersey. They are supposed to have been Dutch, but Lodewick's father was Michael, and his mother was Mary Barbara Till, from Germany. I have more on the family tree but that will suffice for now.
