I am researching my Whisenant line and have found I come from Henry Whisenant (my GGGG grandpa) born 1770 in NC and later took all his kids and settled in St. Clair, Al. Then his son Adam Whisenant (my GGG grandpa) and his 2nd wife Mary Ann (Dean) Graves-Whisenant had a daughter named Amanda (aka Mandy) Whisenant (my GG grandma). Her son Ulysses Herbert Whisenant (my Ggrandpa) married Gertie Mae Lambert. My line of Whisenant's stretched from Marshall, Dekalb, St. Clair, and Etowah counties. I have letter typed by my great grandfather, Ben F. Greenhaw. He says that Jonathan Greenhaw was born in Ireland in 1772 and came to the US at age 20 on a farm in NC. He later went to Madison count, AL. He died at age of 96. Some of his kids are John, Wesley, William (Wild Bill), and Archable. This has got to be the same Jonathan as your Rev. Jonathan. Greetings!
I am a Busey family researcher, mostly the branch that migrated from MD through NC to KY, IN and IL. Happy to share whatever I have. The Mathew Busey who moved to Rowen Co., NC did not have a daughter Elizabeth as far as I know. He would be my 4th great grandfather. They did have a pastle of kids and later moved on to KY. His children moved to Indiana and then Champaign, IL around 1850.
Interestingly, on my mother's side are the Meachams of New England. One of the early Meacham's married Myles Standish's grand daughter so have a direct connection to the Mayflower. The Meachams are a fairly large family with a book and an organization, etc.

I am searching for information on a William Bramlett who was born in South Carolina and listed on the 1880 pope county arkansas census. There is also a Rueben Bramlett listed in logan county arkansas on the same census. This William Bramlett had a daughter named Florence, who was my paternal grandmother. I was intrigued by you Haynes family. I am searching for William C. Haynes who married Sarah McConnel around 1860. They ended up the Cullman, AL vicinity. Daughter Lemma Odell Haynes (b: 1877) married David Ras Eddleman in AL.

Sent an e-mail. Would love to to hear from some others in the Haynes family, whether or not we have a kinship. I live in Woodbine, Iowa, but was born in southern Missouri. My father was Lee Haynes; grandfather was Thomas Lee Haynes. My parents were separated when I was three years of age, so know little about my father's family.
