I'm not sure if I'm from the same Svendsens as those in the photos but I'm looking for descendants of Louis Olif born 1869 in London. His father was Oluf from Christiania, Norway who came to the UK and was a Prof. of Music. Louis fought in the Boer War,fathered my grandfather but married Alice Constance Moore. They had 3 sons, Christian, born 1901, Robin, 1903 and Humphrey in 1905.Louis served in the Canadian 50th battalion during WW1 ending as Lt. Col of the reserves. Humphrey was killed during WW2 and is buried in Gander. I think Christian is buried in Burnaby but cannot find any trace of Robin.Louis retired to Edmonton and died in 1943. His widow and daughter-in-law moved to Vancouver but I cannot find any others or whether Louis and Alice had more children after they moved to Canada.
Any help or information you can give would be very gratefully received.

I would like to THANK Carol for a super job she has done on the Svendsen Family Tree.
Yes, I am a small part of that family thru a distant relative of mine. I am connected to the Stenulson Family. Irwin Stenulson was married to Vicki Ann Svendsen. I was happy to find Carol's Family Tree. That is a big part of a branch off of my Family Tree.
If there is anyone from the Svendsen Family that would like to share any pictures, certificates, newspaper clippings etc. I would really appreciate it. I'm always looking for more information.
