Donna,
Here are a few facts that I know about our Fitch Family.
My Grandmother was Fannie D. Fitch, daughter of Francis Duty Fitch. My Great Uncle, James Travis Fitch & his sister, Gertrude Fitch never married. They took care of their mother & father and were the last Fitches to live on the old home place, where the Blackjack Cemetery is located. They showed me the first grave in the cemetery and it was Empson Fitch, who was buried by slaves & a cedar tree was placed at the head & the foot of the grave, which still stands. The farm was sold after the death of James Travis Fitch.

It sure was a pleasure to find your homepage, asyours was the closest I found to my tree. Seems we split Thomas Fitch I and Ann Stacie, you go with Thomas II and I go with his brother John. If there be any info that I have, I would be glad to trade.

IT WAS VERY INTERESTING READING ABOUT YOUR FAMILY HISTORY IN TEXAS. I WOULD THINK WITH OUT ANY DOUBT THAT ALL THE FITCH'S ARE RELATED NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE IN THE WORLD .
I LIVE IN LEICESTER ENGLAND BUT I KNOW MY FAMILY CAME FROM ESSEX
