How did you find this site? search engine
I am blown away by this website. I have been trying to find information about my grandfathers mother for so many years. All's I know is that my gradfathers mothers name was Rose and her parents names were Sarah Jennie Derock and James Seeley. For all these years I thought she was french Indian.. now I think she might of been mulatto. I would love to know more about my great grandmother and her family. My dads dad, Roses son, was given away to a family in downstate new york.. The Crandalls.

How did you find this site? My uncle..Donald W.L. Roddy
I just wanted to say that I found this site incredibly informative and to thank you for your helping my uncle in his research of our family history. I think I'm definitely hooked now. We just recently recived a lot of information from him on this side of our family history. My grandfather, Donald Francis Roddy was the son of Grace Francelia Franklin, who was the daughter of Reueben Benjamin Franklin, who was the son of Susan Drock, who was the daughter of James Peter Drock, who was the son of Simon Drock, who was the son of Guy Drock. This has definitely made me want to learn more. The stories and the history there is without a doubt, amazing. This research is phenominal.

Who are you researching? just browsing
How did you find this site? your link :)
not much...
...but my dad has done a lot of genealogical research on our families, during countless hours in genealogy libraries in small towns in TX and LA.

The research here is most impressive and indeed surprising; I'm inspired to start my own webpage and get info from my dad, who's technologically impaired - bless his heart - for the content.

Great photos, well-written narrative, and thoughtful research. Thanks for inviting me, I'll certainly be back!

My African ancestored family has been in western New York State since approximately 1803. I have compiled a database of nearly 4,000 descendants of ancestors who lived in Steuben, Allegany, and Cattaraugus counties. I am very eager to share this information and to learn more.
