Our company bought a bell inscribed with the name:Bushy Creek School District. It was purchased at auction in Sioux City within the past year from a Van Meter family. We are trying to find the location of that school district and have been told that it was in the Alton, IA vicinity.

enjoyed being able to look at a township map. With the help of my husband, I was able to locate places and how much land a person owned. Although I have no certainty as to whether any I checked were kin to me, perhaps somewhere down the line of my research, this info found here will prove to be helpful.
