Parkinson family lived on Ethel Street 2 houses from Outer Drive, but in Detroit. They always crossed Outer Drive & did shopping eating out, emtertainment in LP. I grew up on Victoria Ave. House was built 1926 & my parents bought the house in 1947. In 1973 the house was moved to 1226 Ferris.

Olga was married to Domenico Donati who died in 1928. She married Frank Masi in 1954 at Our Lady of MtCarmel in S/W Detroit. I believe Olga came to the U.S. around 1914 but have not been able to confirm that. Frank worked at Ford Motor Co at some point while living in Detroit. Caroline Wilk was my husband's great grandmother. She moved to Wyandotte with her parents in the early 1860's according to Trinity Luthern Church records. Her father, Charles Wilk was a Justice of the Peace in Wyandotte in 1892. She married August Martin who was from Hamtramck, immigrating here from Germany with his parents on Oct. 21, 1853. He served in the Civil War, 11th calvery. After the civil war he reinlisted in the 7th Calvery. He was wounded at the Battle of Washita on November 27th, 1868.

My grandmother was Marguerite Cecelia Odette married to Carlton Blaine Thompson. Carlton was from Maine, Marguerite was from Quebec. Marguerite had Blackfoot Indian ancestors as well as French. Carlton B. Thompson and Marguerite moved to Rhode Island and had 8 children - 7 boys and 1 girl. On my grandfather's side (Carlton), his earliest ancestor was David Thompson who came from Scotland as an agent of Mason & Georges in the spring of 1623 he began a settlement at Little Harbor near the mouth of Piscatoqua (spelling?) near the present site of Portsmouth, Maine. About 1626 he took possession of an island in Boston Harbor still called to this day "Thompson's Island".
