Comments:	I am ch. I-5084, I think. I recently got the family research bug so I bought the ftm program and borrowed The Trueblood Family in America from my cousin. My link to the Trueblood family is through my mother (H-2921) Annabel Lamb, my grandmother (G-1517) Helen Hunt Sherer, and my great-grandmother (F-694) Annabel Trueblood. I am trying to research my grandfather's family tree. When I search OneWorldTree for Clifford P. Lamb, the name Clifford Woodbury Limbaugh comes up. It looks like my grandfather Clifford Paul Lamb and grandmother Helen Hunt Sherer divorced after having 5 children and she later became the 3rd wife of Clifford Woodbury Limbaugh. Apparently, that's why OneWorldTree thinks Clifford Paul Lamb and Clifford Woodbury Limbaugh are the same person. I'm not sure that makes sense though because Helen Hunt (Sherer) Lamb was 17 yrs younger than Clifford Limbaugh. I know it's confusing but can you shed some light on this? BTW: I remember some Truebloods visiting us when I was young. I think it was Wilson Trueblood and his wife. I believe I have their picture somewhere.

Comments:	I am a Trueblood, I'm african american. my grand fathers name i believe was wyatt trueblood. his wifes name was j mae trueblood(i was told she was indian) my father wiley trueblood told me that my grand mother was killed in a train accident. my grandfather was murdered by his neighbors. This all took place in Quincy Florida early 1900's seeing that some truebloods fought in the civil war, and there are caucasian truebloods , leads me to believe the black truebloods had taken the name TRUEBLOOD from there former slave owners. I now reside in minnesota it would be nice to know in full about my history.

Comments:	My great great grandmother was Rhoda Ann Trueblood born Dec 7 1841 in Jackson Co, IN, the daughter of James Trueblood and Nancy Weddell. She married my great great grandfather,Michael Theodore Beem in Jackson Co on Dec 4,1859, and he died in the Civil War in 1864. My great grandmother, Alice Theodora Beem Lockman was the daughter of this marriage along with her sister, Roselba Beem Starr. Rhoda then married William Hill by whom she had 3 children, Armina, Stylus and Laurel. Rhoda died in Jackson Co, IN,August 28, 1929. I was given this information ( and loaned a book of the History of Jackson County which was very helpful ) along with a lot of family photos, including one of Rhoda Trueblood Beem and some of the Hill family. I have no idea where she is buried etc as have been busy with other lines. Have always been intrigued with the Trueblood name as it is unlike the other names I am searching- Lockhart, Elliott, Lewis and Lockman. I also know that Rhoda had a brother, John Trueblood.

I have seen the Trueblood book but wasn't lucky enough to inherit a copy from my great aunts. Everyone needs to be reminded that many people contributed data for the book. Many mistakes were made by the contributors who were not very young. There are many errors in names and dates in our immediate line. It still is a wonderful book and started me out on my genealogical search that has continued over 30 years. My line is Amos, Abel, Caleb, Benjamin, William, Cynthia, Nancy Eleanor Cobb, Bertie Melvin Coombs, Mildred Ruby Coombs. Mildred, my mother will be 91 years old September 15, 2001. She still has a very sharp mind and is healthy for her age. Her father, Bertie Melvin was almost 96 when he died.

Comments:	I have a copy of "The Trueblood Family in America," as well as the supplement of 1970. I corresponded with Bula, and still have the nice note she sent me, explaining her frustration at having a wealth of new material, but being unable to publish a second volume for financial reasons. After her death, I did some calling around, and spoke with Felicity Trueblood, and actually got a hold of an address of someone (seems like it was a daughter of Bula), who supposedly had all the unpublished info. But I never went any further with it. I'm curious if that information has been made available on this site, or not. Thanks!
