I am the grandson of Zeno Elonzo (not Alonzo) Daughdrill and Emma Josephine Geneva Walker. Information relating to their marriage is located in the records under Flournoy Walker, who was Emma's grandfather. My father, Marvin Walker Doughdrill was their eldest child and was born April 17,2000 although some records show he was born in 1899. He was orphaned at 14 and was able to get his father to falsely state the 1899 date to allow him to join the navy. Zeno Elonzo Daughdrill died and was buried in Edinburgh, TX. His father was Zachariah Taylor Daughdrill and his sister was Lutishie Cassandy Daughdrill for whom there is information on RootsWeb. As for the disparity between the name Doughdrill and Daughdrill, no legal change occurred but as a matter of common usage was used by my father and his younger brother Don Juan Doughdrill.
I would be happy to provide any further information that would be of interest to anyone regarding the Daughdrill line.

He was a tailor by trade but worked in the Oklahoma oilfields. I tried to email Sandra Sibley Miller but apparently the address is no longer valid. Why I can appreciate your dedicated labor of love of family ---- at his grand daughter's wedding this week-end, my brother informed us that one of his grandsons keeps asking questions he can't answer & he seemed rather put out that he had no answers.. I am pleased to aswer all the questions for them both. Your website is indeed a treasure for now & all generations to come

I am interested in your Williamson Connections. I am most interested in the names Marion and Nancy Thornhill Williamson and one of their daughters Fannie. Fannie married Stephen Cornwall Conerly and they had 6 children. Fannie died sometime between 1920 & 1925 when my granfather was six years old. We believe she was buried at Society Hill Cemetary with no marker. They were too poor to afford one. Everyone that can tell us where she might be has now passed away, but everyone talked about Society Hill Cemetary. Would you happen to have any information on any of the Williamsons that I have mentioned?
By the way, I have really enjoyed your website. I have looked at every aspect of it and have enjoyed it thoroughly.
Sincerely
Linda Conerly Bobst
