I have family connections to Cedric Coulton who married Elva McCosker 1931 in Inverell, NSW & more distantly through Robert Coulton who married Brenda Palmer 1908 in Inverell. So far I cannot find enough information to locate a connection between the 2 Coulters.

I am researching Eliza F. Colton who was born according to her death certificate in Darbyshire, England; immigrated in 1838 at the age of 20 on I think the Marchiness of Bute in 1842. In 20th February 1843 she married Thomas Brook from East Farleigh, Kent, England who came to Australia with his brother Edward as Bounty Migrants. The family rumour is that they eloped.
I would love to hear from you if we have a connection.

Robert and Rose appear to have taken my great uncle Mervyn into their home and raised him as their son soon after his birth in 1904.

I am a cousin of Kerryanne Dawes and Mark Pinkston. My father was Lionel, brother of Clarice, Ken, Bob and Rose. Lionel dies in 1986. Bob also died. Rose lives in Sydney and yes Ken lives in Tamworth. Here in Melbourne live Lionel's three daughters, Geraldine, Marilyn (my sisters) and myself. Our cousin Peter Coulton also lives in Melbourne. He is a son of Ken Coulton.

My grandmother was Catherine Florence Coulton (married name), i believe she was born in the 1880's in country NSW.Catherine passed away early 1970's. She had 5 children that i am aware of, Lionel, Kenneth, Robert, Clarice and Rose. Clarice was my mother, she was born in Inverell NSW in 1912.I believe Lionel moved to Perth, Western Australia, Kenneth moved to Tamworth NSW,Robert moved to Sydney, Clarice moved to Cootamundra, Rose moved to Sydney.To the best of my knowledge Rose is the only surving child and is 86 years old.Would love to get any info going back further on this if possible.

John: Well done. Actually I was looking up the Pinkstone family tree when I found a cross-reference to my mother Clarice Ivy May Coulton. She had a twin-sister Rose who married Charles Collins and they lived in Crows Nest. My mum was a nurse at the Cootamundra District Hospital when she met my father and they were married about 1941 (tbc). Hi! I am the grandson of Richard Coulton Berkinshaw, CBE, QC, Canadian Minister of Munitions and Supply (WWII), President of Goodyear Canada, Boy Scouts of Canada, Trinity College. He was the grandson of Emma COULTON also of Toronto. The Canadian string of Coulton's came from England in the early 1800's (or so I'm told). I can't find any info on this. My grandfathers name that came from England was John Fredrick Coulton.(july 26,1902...i believe). His father was Septimus Coulton. I believe he is buried in Wales.
