I have ancestors buried at Mount Olive Cemetery and I am trying to search other cemeteries in Mills County.

The surname I am mainly interested in is KELLEY. But, Alice Frances "Jose" WHITTEN Kelley was my great grandmother and she is buried at Mount Olive, but her family may be buried in this cemetery.

It's a shot in the dark, but I check everything since I am trying to do this family search for my Father who is 87 years old and wants so much to round up this part of his family.

Thank you for considering my inquiry. D.S. Ford

Surnames researching Charles Ibsen Welch
Do you have a relative buried here? who ? Yes, a number of relatives
Comments:
I have been researching extensively to find more about my grandfather, Charles Ibsen Welch, who is buried in the Ebony Cemetery. He was born in 1849 and died and buried in Ebony Cemetery in 1890. A newspaper obit shows that he was a well-respected member of the community prior to his death. He first appears on the 1880 Census after he married Mary Elizabeth Ratliff, in 1878. After the birth of their four children, John Byrd,Ida Lacondia, Sarah Elizabeth Gerthrude and Belva E. Welch and the death of Mary Elizabeth, he married my grandmother, Cordelia Elizabeth Russell, in 1890. They were the parents of four children, Armour, Ora, Dewitt and Edessa Welch. Many of these relatives, as well as a number of additional children and grandchildren are buried at Ebony. However, I can find no records of Charles Ibsen Welch's parents. The only possible parents I can find are a William and Elizabeth Welch of Limestone County, Texas. William was born in 1814 and Elizabth (around 1833) in Tennessee but I am not sure that these are the right great grandparents I seek. I can find only that they were the parents of a son named Charles who was born in 1849, but can find no other connection.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it very much!
