Linda; I am so proud that you are my cousin, everyone should be really proud of the work you and John have done on the family. If anyone looks at the photo of my grt grandparents - Charlotte Adel [Parrott] and Hartson Thomas Walling they can see how much you look like her. I promise I will get to work on the Walling branch so you can post our ancestors. It really doesn't show in the research unless you know about it that your DAD and I share grtgrandparents, since a brother and sister Parrott married a sister and brother Walling. Please keep up the good work. Peg Henderson

I'm looking for Morrison's from the Youngstown, Akron/Canton area. I lost touch with many of my cousins years ago. My father was Robert C. Morrison, now deceased. His father (whom I've never known due to his divorce) was Joseph Morrison. He died years ago in a steel mill accident. My father had several brothers that lived/lives in the Akron area. Many of the names under Morrison surname, Charles, Joseph, Frank, Alexander, are very familiar. My families past has been very secretive and I would like to know more. Sound familiar to anyone? I'd like to hear from you that may know. Nice website.
Thanks,

Albert Morrison. Born about 1810 in Mass (?). He may have had a twin brother Robert. and possibly a brother James or John. (My father is also a twin) There were three children
Mariah, James and Albert, all born in the 1840's. Think ther are any links here?

In California, there is a Parrott/ St Johns cemetery in the city of San Mateo, San Mateo County, a few miles south of San Francisco. I think it was named for a John Parrott who lived there. Also, in the California Gold Rush Country, north of the Calif State Park town of Columbia is the Parrots Ferry Road which used to go to the bridge across the North Fork of the Stanislaus River. The ferry was replaced by a bridge -still there- then replaced by a new highway bridge down stream of the old one when the New Melones Dam was built and flooded the river and crossing there. It was named for Thomas H Parrott who established the ferry in 1860 and operated until 1903 when the bridge (the flooded one) was built. The ferry would have joined Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties.
Where are you located?
