I've been searching various resources for several years and came upon your site, finding my relative's service data on your rosters. He is Thomas Allen Thompson,a young man who served for one year before being mortally wounded in the Battle of Harper's Ferry. I inherited his 1860 Colt pistol, a tin-type photo of him with the pistol and his uniform and 12 letters he wrote to his family in 1862. I hail from Florida originally and live in Missoula, Montana.
Once I complete Allen's biography and decipher his handwriting, I'll share that info and his photo for the benefit of your wonderful website legacy to the 60th Ohio Infantry.

Internet; searched for Graben-Neudorf GY. I have met with some of my German
relatives. They came to the Bollheimer reunion in 1991 and made visits to many of us in Illinois and Missouri before flying back to Germany. "A good time was had by all."
My grandfather was Bernard Raymond Bollheimer Sr.

Hello, First I want to thank Jennifer Volker & all the family who have made this site as wonderful as it is! I am the grand-daughter of Charles A. Aldrich & Bertha Faye Jackson. Bertha is pictured as a child with the Jackson family at the url below & I would love to see if there is a way I can get a print of that photo. Around the time my mom Margaret Aldrich died, so did her parents, & my Dad lost all contact with her family.

Carl and my daughter Elizabeth have been collecting information for me, and I had the honor in spending some time with with Carl grandmother Helen Schramm, Goeckel before she died. There is a mistake. Living Goeckel with wife's McCoubrey, Plait, ? , & Soles is the eldest son. I would like Sources to the Schramm, Jackson, Boals, Ayers, etc. lines. Thanks, Kath, Iowa

Ayers first showed up in the Franklin Co., Tn marriage records, and the 1860 TN census, and then he died in Bell Factory, Alabama, I think around 1883. He was married to Delana Tate.
I am from Franklin County, Tennessee, and have lived here all of my life. I would love to find some real Ayers cousins!
