I am researching Hunt family who came from N.C. to Franklin County, Tennessee. The family cemetery is in Liberty Hill in Williamson County, Texas. One family researcher also said the father of my Hayden Hunt b.1829 was a James Hunt. Hayden was in the 1850 Texas census living in Fayette County. One of the Hunts buried in the family cemetery was also James Hunt a civil war veteran, as per the widow's pension application which was denied. She was living in San Patricio County when she applied.

FYI-Samuel E Windsor was married to Lydia Yockey-born 1871 in Pike County,Illinois and died 1953 in Pittsfield,Pike County,Illinois. Their children-Glenna C Windsor-born January 24,1901 in Pike County,Illinois and died April 24,1978 in Pittsfield,Pike County,Illinois. Clifford died in 1958 in Pittsfield,PIke County,Illinois. You have an unbelivable amount information on the Windsors.My Windsors are William Windsor(1799)and Mary from South Carolina moved to Blount Co. Ala. Their son Oliver was in the Civil War and married Martha Steward. They had a son John Henry in 1865. Oliver may have killed a man in Blount Co. Ala. and came to Stewart co Tennessee.He eventually moved to Hickman county Tennessee and several generations lived and live in Hickman Co. Tn. From your migration patterns it doesn't look like this may be a related family.
