I have an old "Ward's Album-#514" full of photos of VT, specifically "The Primrose Farm in Thompson and The Primrose Cottage in West Berlin. They are not dated but the picture of the State House in Montpelier looks just like your picture of the Third in 1903. Also have photos of West Berlin, Roadway to cottage in West Berlin, Lafayette, Burlington, VT, Middlesex Narrows, VT with the falls in the foreground , Congregational Church, Thompson, Mr. Ream's residence, Thompson, Madame Dresser, Olivia and John Doane as children, Mr. and Mrs. Erhardt, Family with first names only- Lena, Carmen, Hilda, Ellen, 28 horses with names and they look to be pure breeds, some with English saddles and some pulling sleighs, 8 dogs with names and they look to be pure breeds of English Boxers or Bulldogs and they were quite proud of their animals. There is one photo of them taking photos of the dogs outside on a table with a fancy cloth on it. Also photos from inside the farm and cottage of the Drawing room and the Music room. These are both huge mansions. Also yiews from the mountains down into the valleys. A friend of the family left these to my Grandfather who left them to me and I don't know the family history except that they were quite wealthy. The photos are well preserved on "Puro" paper and belong recorded in Vermont's history somewhere. I sure hope to get advice from you soon. My research of the family and West Berlin and Thompson are deadends. Thank you-Jody
