Just dropping a line to say how much I enjoyed the Alberta Oilfield website. Used to live in Drayton Valley 1972-1979. I worked at M&R during the summers of 1974-1979. All the Baumann Brothers were there. Good people to work for. Brings back a lot of memmories. Many thanks.

Fantastic Dunc! Wow, a lot of hours put into this, WELL DONE! I'm not sure but I think I was in that picture of the group travelling in the back of your new dump truck in '72? Great adventures, sure glad you shared them here otherwise some of us would never know how much you "have been around". It touched me the part of your being home when Bernard passed away.

Very interesting.I always thought truck driving was a boring
occupation.What about the times in California when drivers were trying to set you up for an accident so they could sue you? Keep the stories coming.

Thanks for sending me your address to the new site. This is a great idea. I look forward to visiting it often. I remember very well the day you brought that new Gold Ford Dump Truck home, that was quite a day, I'm sure I must be one of those people in the picture in the box of the truck. I would like to see some of the photos I took for you from the helicopter the time you were moving the aircraft from the Ottawa Airport, it would make an interesting chapter on your site. Don't forget to include a chapter about your trips to Mexico!!!
