Have been looking for info on my great grandfather Charles and stumbled to your site. How amazing!!! I saw 2 photo's which caught my eye. 1st is the one with Anna Dienes and 3 children. I believe them to be my grandfather William Charles Oz Sr, and his 2 sisters Margaret and Emma. I have seen this picture in my grandparents house. Bertha Oz William Charles mother should be Anna Dienes sister. Also I have a Christmas present from George Dienes? to John Dienes Christmas 1938. Please feel free to contact me for more info. I am researching my grandfather, Andras Curlik (Csurlik) and an uncle told me, before he died, that if I found Sabo I would find my uncle because they were very close friends. I found an Andras Csurlik on Ellis Island today and it indicates that he was going to stay with a Sabo on State Street in Elizabeth, N.J. My grandfather was married in Garfield, N.J., moved to Pa., and then went to Elizabeth where he lived out his life. Do you have any knowledge of an Andras Curlik? I have been researching for 15 months and no no more about my grandfather today than when I first began my search. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Had a note from Gerry Foster today with the information that he has hooked up with a connection to the DeForest family. This is great news as we have been unable to make many connections.
I have found Isaac DeForest's grave in Mt. Hope Cemetary in Rochester, NY. He is burried next to his second wife Martha, who was known as "Nobbsy" and was a seamstess by trade. At the bottom of her stone it reads "A Heroic Spirit". Their graves are on plot M 321 which is on Cedar Drive. I have a letter from a deceased cousin of mine stating the "Nobbsy" was a superb seamstress, but had a very peculiar personality. Do you have any idea where Aseneth might be burried.

For some reason I cannot e-mail you by clicking on your e-mail link, so I hope you will contact me. The names don't match, but the streets do. My Sabo's are John and Mary. They lived on Florida Grove Rd. in 1910 and on James St. Hopelawn in 1920. Their children were Mary, James, Irene, Elizabeth, John, and Niklos (Mike).

I got your web site from my brother Bill in British Columbia Canada.You,ve done a great job here,lots of great info.
I live in Labrador City Labrador Canada at about the 54th parallel way up north. Today is April 1st and it is 16 degrees below Zero centigrade but does get down to -40 and 50 with wind chill that would be about -70c. Westill have 15 foot snow banks and spring comes in June..
