I came across this site by accident and discovered that my grandparents are part of your family lineage. My grandparents were Charles and Verna Bierly. Their son, Daunn Bierly was my father who passed away May 16, 1973 at the age of 56. Daunn had two children, one son, Daunn R. Bierly ( who died July 8, 2007 at the age 60). One daughter, Linda M. Bierly Ortega. I am that daughter and I have a daughter, Kristen D. Ortega. I have been trying for years to find out where my grandparents are buried, I believe they lived in either Rebersburg or Millhall and were dairy farmers. They died within a week of each other as a result of pneumonia. My father barely survived and was raised in the Tresssler Lutheran home in Loysville, PA. Hello there. My name is Stephanie Heald and I am the Great Granddaughter of James Weiser Kahle. Loretta Mae Wilson, my Great Grandmother, died on Mothers Day of 2002. Gramma and Grampa gave birth to two girls: Alice Kahle and Virginia Kahle. Alice died at the age of 42 from complications with her diabetes. Virginia Kahle married Gary Heald. They had three sons. Jim Heald (who changed his last name to Kahle when I was 12 in honor of Great Grampa Jim. He's also my dad), Jeffery Heald, and Jonathan Heald (who was born with down syndrome). I know it's probably too much to add to your family tree but I figure you could at least put Gramma Letta (as us great grandkids called her) as deceased. : )

I came acrossed your webpage while researching the Brungart family. I have been searching for the Kahl lineage. When I married, my wife and I were told that we would never have children. After 4 years of marriage we put in for adoption; 2 years later we were called in for our first interview and that day my wife came home from the doctor and we were told we were going to have a baby. Our son was born and two years later our daughter was born. I wanted to give them some special and I decided on a family tree. I got back to George Kahl born around 1830's in Birkenbringhausen, Germany. Married into the Bilse and Ostenberg families. It's great to see so many Kahl's.

Great site. I have been looking for information on our family for quite some time. Edward Kahl, my grandfather, and his wife came from Germany in the late 1800s settling in Los Angeles area. Her name was Barbara Wolf. They had three children, Andrew, William and Art Kahl. Edward left a hand carved letter opener with the cut inscription of "Rincon Camp."
