I am new to the Dermody/Darmody website. I note that most of the information seems to be families in Australia. But one never knows - there may be a "nugget" or connection to Canada. It's a great website.

Comments:
I am trying to trace Kelly's from Galway. My grandmother was Alice Kelly (one of 13 children) born in Australia, I believe her grandfather came to Australia from Galway, Ireland but I don't even have his name. I do know that the family originally settled in Drouin Victoria and believe there are still relatives in Drouin.

David Kelly & Margaret Williams were born and married in Breconshire. They are now buried in Terang. One of their sons was Edward John Kelly who lived in Rosebank in Terang. Mary Anne Kelly, was their daughter and my great grandmother. She was born at Fairy Hill,Belfast Victoria and the mother of Robert Scott Kelly born at Koroit. I am interested in any information about the location where David lived prior to Terang and note tha Kelly's Swamp is about where "Fairy Hill" was located.
