Read with interest the will of Richard Betton. Touched to see an Edward Plimmer mentioned. It is possible an ancestor of mine as i have discovered an Edward Plimmer b. 1791 in Pontesbury or Shrewsbury but living in Pennington in Leigh, Lancashire. I pressumed I was from Liverpool stock but this find has proven otherwise!

My husband descends from the family of John Slade in Shropshire, but from a much earlier generation. I have Joh Slade's will of 1681 but did not have the inventory. Thank you for that. I have found on the IGI the marriage of William Wareing to Margerie Cole on 23 November 1662 at Ludlow. Another child probably of Peter Cole and Ann Slade - no baptism found yet. Have you tried looking at Painter rather than Printer for Shropshire on the IGI - there appear to be quite a lot of these in Shropshire.

Very nice, but didn't find my great grandmother Mary Ann Betton (b: 1833) that married (John) David Jones and was from Worthen, Shrospshire, England.. Came to the USA in 1888. If anyone has info on her it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
