Earliest known ancestor Edwin Bieler
Comments:
Hi how are you!!! Edwin Bielerwas my Grandfather. From what I do know I am directly related to an elder Schwenkfelder who came from Switzerland, before that Germany. There was a picture of me and her when I was rela little. My Step Mother will not give me a copy of it. I am looking for the info she did send, but she seemingly refuses to send me a copy of that special picture of me (Boen 1963) and my Great, Great Grandmother..perhaps greater. I will find her name and try to find this page again to let you know. Perhaps you have a picture of her or know where I can get one.. TYTY Sincerely, Michelle

Earliest known ancestor George W. Huffnagle
Comments:
George W. Huffnagle was my grandfather. I don't have other information in front of me, so that is the only person I can think of at this moment. We have a copy of the old registry, but my sister has it in her possesion and I don't know what version it is. It is old. (I am 57.) The last formal entry in it for our family is, I believe, my Mother and Uncle. Bernice Janet Huffnagle (Bell) and George W. Huffnagle II. They were both born on May 4, three years apart from each other. I believe my mother's year was in 1929. (My Grandfather, according to my Mother, always bragged "he planned it that way') I never really paid any great attention to my Mother when she spoke of our family, but now, getting up in age and having grandchildren of my own, I am beginning to take an interest to pass down our story.

Earliest known ancestor Not sure
Comments:
My father always talked about the Schwenkfelders and I know there is some 'relationship' between our family and the Schwenkfelders, but I'm not sure what it is. My father passed away in 2007, so I can no longer ask him about it. I believe my grandfather went to a seminary school in or near Schwenksville. I have seen some text book that my father had that had history/genealogy of the Schwenkfelders. We were always told we were descendants of Hulrich Zwingli, with the first and last letter of our surname being changed over time.

Earliest known ancestor Henry Huntsberger
He or she was from, and dates Switzerland? and SE PA?
Comments:
Trying to connect the Virginia Huntsberger/Huntsberry ancestor Jacob, and mother Margaret (relict of Henry Huntsberger)to the other Hunspergers in what was to be Franconia TWP after 1730. Jacob and his mother appeared in VA, he buying land in 1760. The Hunsperger Assn. can't help me connect either. If you ever come across a Heinrich Hundsberger or anything similar by 1760 in E. PA please contact me.

I like the will of clemens. Sounds like he or a friend knew something about will making in Germany.

Earliest known ancestor John (Johannes) Jacob Felker

Comments:
His wife, Anna Barbar(a)supposedly come over with the Schultz in 1734. She was apparently the sister in law of Rev. Schultz. John Jacob came over in 1732 and brought at least one son with him. She brought at least three other children with her. She is supposedly buried in their cemetery. I would like to know more -- where is the cemetary or at least the records. I live in southeastern PA, so am seeking further info for research. Their descendants eventually moved to the Portland and Nazareth, PA areas.

I was under the impression that UFT no longer existed & that I was stuck with my Family Tree sitting here on a no longer existing program with no possibility of upgrades or technical support. Even so, I still prefer to continue to use UFT over other systems I have viewed. I purchased my UFT in 1998, have used it ever since & still feel more comfortable with it.......

Name: Denny Hydrick <dhydrick@bellatlantic.net>
Date: 2003-01-31
Comments:
My Hydrick genealogical "cousins" and I can only trace our lines back to a Jacob Hydrick in South Carolina. We have no success in going further. If it were possible to gain a link to the PA "Hydrick's", that would open a phletera of info (and new cousins). Even though I now live in Royersford, PA (around the corner from Schwenksville), I grew up in Mississippi. You have some good data on your site.

Even though I live in PA now, my family is from MS thru AR thru SC (Jacob). There are several Hydrick's researching across the country but no one can go back from Jacob. I plan on visiting the Library/Museum in Pennsburg soon to see if I can find any references to him.

Earliest known ancestor Johannes Forrer, Zerbe, Brion
He or she was from, and dates Germany
Comments:
I have a lot of Pennsylvania Germans in my background. Hoping to make a connection with some of them in this book. They seem to have been multiple religions. I know I have Palatines. The Forrer family might have been from Scoharie, NY or came over in the 1720-30's. Might be a connection with the Ferree family. Everyone used flexible spelling.

I have in my genealogy an ancestor by the name of Anna Marie Knebel, born 1638 in Alsheim, Pfatz, Bavaria, she was married to Hans Konrad Kummell(Kimmel). He was born 1635 in Oppenheim, Rhine Hessen, Germ. He was a Bath owner & Barber at Alsheim.

I have not done the research on this, or proven this, but noticed the similar spelling of Rev. Reuban Kriebel of 1878.

I can't tell you how happy I was to see the reference to your website in RootsWeb Review today. I'm trying to switch from Family Tree Maker to TMG (I unfortunately lost my un-backed-up FTM data in a hard drive crash, so I'm re-inputting data). My primary reason for the switch was so that I could properly cite my sources, and I thought I was losing my mind when I started trying to reference my data, because it wasn't coming out "correctly". I am encouraged by your information and heartily thank you for sharing it!
