I visited your web site hoping to figure out what your connection to Allan Bowman Betzner (my Grandfather) was. I begin to suspect it was simply because he married a Whitney, since you got the data from the Whitney Research Group at whitneygen.org. If you are interested in Allan Bowman Betzner's ancestry, I can supply it back to the immigrant Samuel Betzner who arrived in PA in 1757. I am also, since I am one of the founders of the WRG, able to discuss that family with you should you need any help there.
I guess that's all. Happy Hunting!

Thanks for all this work. I was losing hope finding the Samuel S. Duncan, b.abt 1850, PA. Now there is more hope! I couldn't figure out his parents and which family is which. I am on the west coast & do not have easy access to East coast items, so it is with grateful appreciation that I look at your work. Many thanks to you for all your efforts! I hope to be able to do this for others on this side of the continent, too, but I am not as good at looking up things as you seem to be. I guess I just need more practice. keep up the great work! may

We have formed a genealogy group called, "Campbell Genealogy" from about 7 states all seem to be descending from John Campbell & Jane Ritchey. We seek information related to a John Campbell born in Fannett Twp., Franklin Co., PA. We have Jane Ritchey Campbell proved as the daughter of Adam Ritchey & Abigail Dill with grand parents of Adam Ritchie & Nancy Agness Bolton. And the wife of our John Campbell. married in Wheatfield Twp. Indiana Co., PA. after statehood and before 1810. They were strong Presby. church members. This family next found their way to Crosby Twp., Hamilton Co., OH., next to Scott Co., IN and Henderson/Warren Co., IL. where both John & Jane died. This family's offsprings found their way into Stone Co. & Christian Co, MO.

As your McFeaters line were ahead of out John would any in your branch have information related to the connection from Hannah down about 2 generations to that which we have proved to date.

THANKS so much

My brother did the research and traced us back to Thomas Rogers. One sister and I went to Massachusetts, Orleans, Eastham, and Quabbin Reservoir area to look at gravestones and sites. Now our immediate families are spread out over eastern and central states. It's fun and very interesting.

Dear Sara,

My wife's grandmother (now 93 years old) is descended from the Killens - her mother was Bertha Killen. Needless to say, I was happy to find your information. Bertha's daughter, my grandmother-in-law, was delighted, too. She has some records on that side, specifically the records Bertha submitted to the Daughters of the American Revolution. This past summer I visited her family cemetery in Michigan; Bertha is buried there. I'd love to hear from you to know how you're related, how you did your research, etc. Naturally I'd be happy to share information I have. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sara:

The last time we e-mailed I have found 6-7 cousin's who have joined myself in what we call, "Campbell Genealogy".My wife Mary Katherine Campbell is the g-g-g- granddaughter of John Campbell & Jane Ritchey Campbell. Campbell Genealogy has proved John through church records, census, Land & Tax records. Jane has been proved through church records (Sugar Tree Grove Church) in Henderson and Warren Co's., Illinois. In fact this family have been pioneers in the sence they were amoung the first into new area's. Some before the land was actually opened. The Illinois Historical Society has ask us to request Descendant of Pioneers status. We have not discussed possiable publishing of what we have, but it will fill a gap in several works in process at this time. I seams that the Campbell arm of this overall family is fogged in mistery and a lack of making records. anything on that point.

My husband is a double descendant of George Anderson Christian. His mother's parents were Eva Matilda Christian, daughter of William Dotson Christian, who married her 1st cousin George Micheal Manning, who's mother was Pierie Lulticia Christian. I am interested in anything you may have on the Christians. pam

I am a beginner at this! Found my grandparents on the 1910 census; have sent for the 1920. They were in Huntingdon County in 1920; now to find how, when, why they immigrated from Belgium; where they went from there, and when. My father ended up on Long Island, N.Y. in late 1920's.

I loved your McClatchey Family History site. They are my ancestors! My line goes:Mary Jane McClatchey Sparks (1835-1916); dau of Samuel (ca.1795-?);Charles (1769-1839); James (1730?-1808).If you ever find anymore on this Samuel McClatchey I hope you will take the time to share it with me. He was in Mason Co. KY for the 1820 & 1830 Census and then shows up in Lee Co. Iowa in 1856 and 1860 Census. Anyone out there share this line with me?

a year ago approx., I sent you info in my husbands family . John B. Piper & Maryann Gregg with a list of their childrens names(half of which you didnt have in your site) with the agreement you would enter the info into your site with me as a reference so relatives could contact me if they wanted. I check the site at times & still dont see that
youve done what you agreed to. You said you type really fast
and it wouldbe no problem. Had I known you would not live up to your end of the bargain I would not have sent the info. No one is getting the benefit of this info that I have searched out & found. Please do what you said or send me back the papers I sent you. The info does no one any good sitting on your desk or whereever you put it. we made an agreement, Id like it if you would carry through.

Thank You,

Marion Woss

My curiosity was piqued when I noticed that you also had both Whitneys and Brewsters in your family tree. The Brewsters were rather a close family, so we're descended from Ruth, Grace and Mary Brewster. We come down the Whitney side from John1's son Jonathan and wife Elinor. I have been having so much fun untangling the puzzles and realy admire your site. Good luck, happy hunting.

I liked the layout and organization of your web site, it's something to be emulated once I get to that point. I especially liked the resource information that allowed me to find out more about the Civil War and the Mayflower. I'll have to ask my friend Catherine Fletcher of Boston, MA about her knowledge of her family tree and potential links to the Mayflower. Some fun, eh!
