I am hoping to find some photographs of the feed and grain store operated in Princeton, TX by my late first husband's family--George Johnson (buried in Princeton Cem) his wife was Ella Esta Burton Johnson and they had children Geo. Wesley Johnson (my late husband's father0 Fred Johnson, Pearl Johnson and ? I have Wesley's high school year books and would be happy to donate them after I copy and put them on my computer. I am hoping to make contact with a descendant of Fred for the purpose of genealogy. Also looking for possible ID on photos I have.

I am trying to find information on Robert Perry Tarpley b: 28 March 1847 Grenada, Yalobusha, Mississippi. Died: 4 April 1874 Plano, Collins, Texas. I can not find where he is burried. or information on is family. Wife: Martha Susan Caffery b: 9 Oct 1849 in Mississippi; died: 2 Aug 1928 in Oklahoma. son: William Edgar Tarpley B. 7 March 1867 in Mississippi D: 13 Jan 1938 in Oklahoma. daughter: Minnie Alice Tarpley b: 15 April 1868 in Mississippi.

First time I have seen your site. Impressed by all you've done to help people like me. I noticed a J. T. HAUN, Lot 306b, and J. B. HAUN, Lot 307a, in Bethel Cemetery. I think J T (James T "Jim" Haun) might possibly be my grandfather's cousin. My grandfather and his brother/sisters moved from Tennessee to Collin Co. My grandfather moved on to Hale County and the rest of the brother/sisters stayed in the Collin-Dallas area and are buried in various cemeteries there, but none at Bethel. Wondering if you might have additional info on J T and J B Haun. I have a death record for J T but it does not give any family info -- just the birth and death dates on the tombstone. I have no info on J B.

My comment is not about genealogy but is about related to currant events. I read on a web news page that 33 graves were vandalized in Cottage Hill Cemetery this last week. I sincerely hope that the marker for Alla Hubbard was not among the tomb stones damaged. I am 62 years old and I have heard of the legend of the ghost of Alla Hubbard my entire life from my mother, Billie Ruth (Johnson) Hines. My mother mother has now passed on, and my daughter has shown little or no interest in genealogy unitl just recently. I was making plans to spent a weekend in november with my daughter and grandchildren visting cemeteries of grand parents, gret and greta great grandparents burials in the area. While at Cottage Hill, I thought it would be a good time to pass along the legend of Alla Hubbard to Daughter and GrandChildren. I just hope her statue was not one that was damaged during the vandulism last week. If you do not know, could you provide a name of someone how might know?

I thank you very much. Alla Hubbard was not related in any way but my mother like the legend, even if it was kinda dumb, but it was also cute.

Would like any info anyone could give me on these people.
My Great Grandmother was Martha Gaines, she had a daughter, Rosa Bell Biggs
when she married Richard Edgington and Mr. Edgington had 2 daughters, then
they had one daughter together named Luella Jane. I know Aunt Luella married
a Duckworth and so did mr.edgington daughter Viola.
I have Viola and her husband 50th wedding picture If anyone is more kin than
I am to her I would be glad to send it to them.
