Cheri, I appreciate all the work you have done on your family history. Very informative and very detailed.

I would like to ask what information you might have in the "Lewis" family side. I am from E. E. and Minnie A. (Wolfe) Jackson, whose daughter Estella Evaline (Deetsel) Jackson, who married Basil Forest Lewis, whose parents were James Marion (1865-1920) and Elizabeth Catherine (Price) Lewis (1862-1920). Do you have very much information - such as pictures of Basil and Deetsel? Deetsel's father was my grand-uncle, him being the brother to my paternal grandfather Charles C. Jackson. You can send any information you might have to the above email address - or if you don't have any information, please let me know.

If there is anyone else out there reading Cheri's Guest Book, that might be related to the above-mentioned family, would love to hear from any of you.

Thanks again Cheri, you have done a wonderful job on your family history.

Hi Cheri,
I am also going to try to contact you thru an e-mail address I have not sure if it is current. I was wondering if there is anyway that you would send me thru my e-mail a copy of a picture you have on your website. The picture is the one of J.J. Mcclane and his wife Lillie. This is a half sister of my grandmothers Lottie McGuffey Lee. I tried to download the picture but it is very fuzzy, not sure how to fix it. It appears that it may have been a small one. Maybe that is why. I would appreciate anything you can do.
Thank you so much.
Vicki

My father's family are descendants from Jacobus Krankheyt. He had a son with the same name excepted Anglesized. We know that Jacobus the younger moved to Canada after the American Revolution which circumstantially suggests he was a Tory. His son, Simon married another Tory's daughter. They in turn had a daughter who married a Harris in New Brunswick, where Tories had been given tracts of land in payment for their service or loyalty to the Crown.

From information that was given to me William Rublear b. l704 married Abigail Brush who was born Southold Long Island. She was the granddaughter of Richard and Johannah. I am a member of the DAR via the Roblee line and would love to know if indeed I am a Brush descendant. I'm a novelist living in Upstate New York. I write historical fiction. Thanks

How I found this website looking for information about Florence (Flossie) Portz daughter of Joseph Portz the brewmaster.
My hobbies and special interests looking up family information about people from Union Town, Colton and Colfax Washington
Comments:
I am the girlfriend of Flossie Portz's grandson. David Carty. I am also a descendant of German people from the Union Town, Colfax and Colton Washington area. One of Flossie Portz's sons just died (William Carty)

Naturally at a Family get-together, questions are asked. The Cartys are at loss to give very much history.

The family talks often of her often with a special reverence.........so I got curious and found this website........I was thrilled.

Thank you so very much for posting your family information!

My boyfriend and I went to Union Town, Colfax, Colton, Pullman area to do a little history searching. Eureka! We found out that Joseph Portz was very prominent in that area and had major input in to building that town........There are more than a couple of pictures of him featured in a Union Town history book. His footprints are all over the place! The building that he built as a brewmaster is still standing. It is now beautifully restored...and is a nice restaurant.

Anyway, if you want a little more information e-mail me.

I have had no luck finding anything on my dad or grandfather and would appreciate greatly any hints on finding data. My dad had an older brother who lived in Lander, Wyoming and Provo, Utah whose name was Paul Allen Lotz and a sister named Paula May. Henry Lotz was said to have died in 1920 or 1921.

Thank you for the wealth of knowledge you have shared. I am a "newbie" to the genealogy practice (with hopes of publishing my research), and I have enjoyed the way your website is layed out, it is very easy to navigate and the information offered is concise with glimpses of personal experiences. It has helped me visualize a more well rounded picture of my ancestors past.

Although I am a Cronkhite, I visited your website because Lucinda Alice Trinkle was my 2nd great grandmother on my maternal side of the family and I have recently inherited an extensive amount of family pictures and heirlooms that I am hoping to piece together for my otherwise "clueless" family. I have many Trinkle photographs to share with you once I have figured out who they are. It appears that the photographs may go back to Robert "Martin" Trinkle, and possibly Frederick "Fred" Trinkle. I am also planning a documentary trip to the cemetaries of Vermilion Co,Illinois within the next month where I hope to have grave stone pictures to share with you as well.

I hope to stay in touch with you and possibly share more of our common ancestry.

Thanks again for the wonderful resource, I will be back!

Hi. I have not talked to you in a while but wanted to drop you a line. You have listed that the original Johan Georg Boligh was the father of Thomas, but you also state him as being the same Georg of Berks county who died abt 1797 according to his will. The only problem with that is on the original marraige records in New Hanover which i drove up to see shows that Thomas's father was desceased when he married Elizabeth Kehl and yet her father Jacob was living when they got married sep 20, 1791. Please write back and if anyone else has imput please feel free to write me at artist332006@yahoo.com

I am a Great Grandson of Emaline Lewis and Daily Shaffer. You have an excellent website. I have started to research my roots, and have found your information on
the Lewis Family very helpful. I knew Glenn & Ferry Lewis quite well, and stayed at their house once in Middlepoint, Ohio. I think Glenn's father was Mars "Oreal" Lewis, but I am not sure. My father used to talk about his Aunt Mish & Aunt Lucy.
His Great Aunt Artmisha lived in the Alma, Michigan area - as well as my Great grandparents. I believe the Aunt Lucy he referred to was Lucinda Dilbert who was
married to Lafayette Lewis, but am not sure.

My three greats-grandfather is Jesse Poley aka Bolig, born April 27, 1833 in New Hanover, Montgomery, PA. died November 21, 1909, the son of Abraham Bolig, born May 9, 1809 New Hanover, PA. Died December 22, 1881 in Green Lane and buried at Frieden's Union Cemetery in Sumneytown, Montgomery, PA. , the son of Thomas Bolig , born April 5, 1770 New Hanover Died between 1830-1840 and married Elizabeth Kehl on Sep 20, 1791. Baptismal records show Thomas parents were George & Catherine. Lots of people have noted that Thomas is the son of Johann Georg Bohlich that came to the USA in 1754. The problem i see with that is People believe he died in berks county in 1797 and the marriage record for Thomas & Elizabeth show that his father George is dead before Sep 20, 1791. I believe he may be the son of George who married Catherine Mechline but that George would have died around 1778 and married another Catherine previously. Any imput would be appreciated.

Hello, nice website. I am a direct descendant of James Mawhorter b. Jan. 04, 1801 in Washington County, PA. (md. Margaret Mawhorter). I have been trying to find out who the parents of James Mawhorter were. It's unproven, but I think the parents of James Mawhorter were John McWhorter b.1773 and Hannah Polly Early. John McWhorter b.1773 was the half brother to your James MeWhirter. If I'm right, then my ancestor James Mawhorter would have been nephew to your James MeWhirter.

Exploring connection of name Wittenmeyer with Willingmyre and variations. Have found John Willinmeyer in 1769 Philadelphia proprietary tax and have traced current willingmyre descendants to John Willingmyre/Winemore born in Richmond circa 1790 served in War of 1812, lived in Philadelphia married Mary Ann Fennimore and was Cordwainder. According to the 1870 Census John's father was foreign born. There is also Caspar(Casper) Willingmyre/Winemore in Baltimore beginning City Directory 1803 Brickmaker died 2/6/1826 "in his 63rd year" This branch some time used the name Winemore or Winemeyer or Winemyer. For example Casper is in 1800 Census as Winemyer. No success finding arrivals but likey Casper and father (John Willinmeyer) of John (1812 soldier Richmond born) were brothers who came from the old country Anyone with thoughts?

Ive often thought about my family history, just before my dad past away he gave me some of his dads medals from world war one (my grandad)I found out that he and his brother had enlisted together in the Manchester Regiment 8 battalion, unfortunatly his brother John was killed in Gallipoli France but he survived to the end and came out as sergent after moving up the ranks, his name was Joseph Galloway and he was a monumental stone mason by trade. He came from the Paisley district of Glasgow Scotland to work in Manchester where he got a job with Man city corporation,he was married to Helen Jacobs and they had 6 children,Frederick,Frank,(my dad)Ernest,Arnold,Renee and Florence.(only Arnold survives)and they lived in the Beswick area of M/c in a terraced house known as a 2up 2down in Blackthorn street, off M/c Rd,God knows how they managed to live together, the 2 bedrooms were only about 13 x 13 ft.I took some 8 mm footage of the area 30 yrs ago, unfortunatly Blackthorn st and Princess st which ran back to back with each other were demolished shortley before I got there, apparentley both streets suffered some structural damage during the M/c Blitz WW.2 and were deemed unsafe by the time I got around to filming there, but I got a flavour of the neighbourhood with the old school and ST Jeromes and the other houses that were still standing. Well.....I seemed to have gone on a bit,I only meant to add a couple of lines, anyway cheerio for now and I enjoyed your site, very informative.Cheers Frank.

Hi, cousin!
Although we've never met, I remember my grandmother, Tena (Ernestine Bevard) Wilkin and her daughters, Ruby and Anna, talk about Rene Dibert. We even attended one of the Dibert reunions when I was very young!
And I well remember Russell (Thomas "Russell", son of James "William" Dibert) and still see his daughter, Dortha and her sons from time to time.

I'm the daughter of Charles and Sarah Wilkin and I'm delighted to find a little piece of the family history on-line.
I can probably add a little current info, if you are interested.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year!

Euphene, (Euphema) Cronkhite, daughter of Elijah Cronkhite and Katherine Oderkirk, was my gr-gr-grandmother. She married James Gallimore or Warren County Indiana. They had several children, one of whom was my Gr-grandmother, Rhoda Gallimore. By the 1870 census, Gallimore children were apparently orphaned and living as live-in servants in various homes in the area.

Her daughter, Rhoda May Gallimore, married Raymond Foster, also of that area. Raymond Foster was the son of Benjamin Foster.

Rhoda Gallimore and Raymond Foster had 5 children: Jesse, who died as a baby, Bonnie, Benjamin, Paul and Mildred Foster. Mildred Foster was my grandmother.

The Fosters, Gallimores, and Cronkhites all fought in the Revolutionary War, and I have heard that these Indiana lands where they settled may have been awarded to children of Rev. War vets. Have you ever heard this? Seems strange that so many of them would end up in the same area.

Thank you for the very extensive early PA Kurtz History; very nice. I'm trying to figure from which PA ancestor my grandfather Henry Kurtz, and my father Clarence Henry Kurtz [1914 - 1994] are descended. My father's aunt, Mary Kurtz, out of PA, a delightful, widowed, plain-clothed, 70ish little lady in the 1960's would visit our family. She must have been born then in the late 1800's. My sibs are Walter Samuel Kurtz, Clarence Eldon Kurtz, and Nancy Ellen (Kurtz) Sollenberger. All sibs reside in Sarasota, FL with the exception of "Eldon" who lives in Harrisonburg, VA. Further, I assume an acquaintance here in Sarasota acquired the name Mary Boley when she married into the Boley family:) The Georg Bohlich history is wonderful; be proud (like the rest of us:)
Again, thank you for your site. If you can help me make my connection to the early PA Kurtz's, I would be most greatful. Thank you. Mary E. Kurtz www.packyourbagnow.com srqmare@aol.com

I started my family history about a year and half ago when my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer and we all realized that we really didn't know anything about his dad's side of the family because he passed when my dad was only 2 yrs. old. My dad had heard and wondered all his life where his dad came from so that is when I started it and then my mom started wondering about hers since her mother had died in 2000. So I have been checking things out now for awhile and never realized how many Trinkles exsisted until now and your site just helped me more than you would ever guess. I will be back to view it again and keep up the wonderful job you are doing. I could be wrong but I do believe that the Jane Trinkle that lived with her son until she died was my great great grandma and her son Jacob was my great grandpa and his son Robert L. was my beloved grandpa. One thing is for sure they did believe in having very large families. If you need any info and I can help just e-mail me. Like I said I could be wrong but so far everything adds up pretty good. Thanks for having your history available to others like me.

I'm still looking further back than William Fitz-Gerald, but so far I've only found his birthplace as Killymoon Castle in Tyrone, Ireland. I'm hoping to find some actually connection into the Burke's peerage pages so I can definatively trace it back to the 800's. I just arrived on your site and it looks nice (I'll be looking at it more tomorrow).

Cheri,

I just happened upon your website. I have done some genealogy for our family on and of for about 4 years. More off than on I'm afraid, as my retirement years has not given me the freedom as I thought it would. But, I do love working on it as I have the time. The thrill of the search is what keeps me going. I have not yet put it on the web as it's still quite a work in progress.

When I saw Zuber listed on the website, I just took a chance that it might be you and yours. Great work!!! Thanks for the tips as I need all the help I can get. I'll visit again!

Tell your mom hello for me and we hope to see her at our luncheon on the 5th.

Thank you very much for sharing your family information! I was very interested in the McClane Family info/photos and the photos with William Barnes and Frank Thuston who are great granduncles.

Do you have further information on the Thuston or Barnes Families? A cousin told me that she found photos that included a Rower family member....can you guide me to the photo?

My direct desendants include Isaac and Almeda Barnes and Isaac and Julia Thuston, parents of William Barnes and Frank Thuston who are both in family photos included in your family tree.

My Barnes, Thuston,Rower,Dunlap,Wickham and Reynolds ancestors came to Putnam County, Ohio from Franklin and other Ohio counties in the 1840's, 50's and 60's.

I have a number of old photographs of the Barnes, Thuston, Rower and Reynolds Families that I could share if these families are in your family tree.....

Thanks again, I enjoyed your site.

John Adney b. 28 March 1774 owned land at Ft. Recovery, Mercer County (once Darke county), Ohio. From this land he set off a tract for a burial ground and gave it to the neighborhood. It occupies a knoll that commands a wide view in all directions of the broad valley of the Wabash. Though still spoken of as the Adney Graveyard, it is also known, appropriately, as Green Mound Cemetery.

Hello
I found that website with google, searching for some family relatives here in Germany.
As I could see your roots are from Baden and the area of Heidelberg.
My grandfather was born Nov.6th 1903 in a small town called Baiertal which is near Heidelberg, he died in Donaueschingen during a bombing of the railway station Jan.2nd.1945.
Our family roots here in Germany starts during the periode of the 30years war in Europe around the year 1648.
The first Zubers came from Switzerland, area of Thurgau town Märstetten.
In both areas a lot of Zubers are still living and you can find much more information about the long families history in Germany as well as in Switzerland.
Hope you will have some more sign ins here, good luck and all the best.

Hello,
My husband's g-g-g-g-grandfather David Reynolds married Sarah "Sally" Galloway. I found your web site searching for information on Sally Galloway. It seems her brother John married Mary Reynolds, which poses this question for me. Was David Reynolds b. 1761 the brother of Mary Reynolds b. 1762? Legend in my husband's family stated that they descended from Dutch ancestors. I think I may have found the connection. Thanks for posting all your great work.

Grateful,
Rita

Comments:
My first visit, i was surprised - just have written "PORTZ" and google has found Your website ( first possition :) like I said, I was looking for something about my second name ( correct?)- anyway familly name of my father, grandfather... So I think This website is interesting for my, because name PORTZ is (hmmmm my english....) similar? / looks like mine? / is close to my name-PORC? / anyway, PORTZ sound and loks GERMAN, and my PORC loks more POLISH (Im from PL) but my grandfather, he was from MAZURY (PRUSY-PRUSSIA) he was called (whole familly was called) "MAZUR" ( maybe like- PRUSAK- PRUSSIAN :)- thats my imagination :) so maybe PORTZ and PORC they are familly together (anyway is nice to think that I have a familly in big World :), and my name was changed for simple, sounds same when readed. At the end I just wont to say It was very nice to find and meet The Portz familly :) and wath the photos. So good luck, and keep The geneaology Tree alive and health :) and make it biger and green :))) M. Porc

Nice Galloway Family website. I am trying to see if my line of Galloway's are connected. My grandfather was Robert E. Galloway, born 1874, Carthage, IL. His father was John S. I've enjoyed researching the Parr line since 1976. My roots: NY>NJ>NC>TN>IN>CA. Most of us try to connect to John Parr(1696) and Mary Corwin (1696)from Long Island. After the Revolutionary War, some migrated with the Scots Irish into Wilkes CO, NC then Roane CO, TN - Johnson CO, IN and then Jasper CO, IL. Wonder if there is a common ancestory in New England, PA, et al that connects your line with ours??? You have a wonderful website - maybe the best I've enjoyed. Thanks and maybe we will talk in the future. Bill Parr. I'm retired and living in San Diego, CA Bill@ParrWeb.com.

Hi,
I am a descendant of John Coffey, Sr.(born in Ireland, went to Massachusetts, and died at Monroe, Orange Co., N. Y. and Experience (perhaps Experience Nye born in Sandwich, Mass. and died quite old in Monroe, Orange Co., New York. Experience may have been a daughter of Benjamin Nye and his second wife (think it was Rachel Foster).
John and Experience has a daughter Grace Coffey who had two husbands. The first was Levi Alger (1781 - 1820) and the second was widower Col. James Youngs of Blooming Grove who she married at the Presbyterian Church of Monroe in 1823. Grace had a son Charles Coffey Alger (1809 - 1874) (my gggf) and a daughter Emily Alger who was the first wife of a Cyrus Pratt who married her first cousin Harriet Coffey after Emily died at age 25. Emily left a daughter Sarah E. Pratt who had children by two husbands.
Chares Coffey Alger (C. C. Alger) was in the iron business in Stockbridge, Mass., Hudson, N.Y., and Cold Spring, N. Y. He had two wives and three children. I am descended from his son by the first marriage who was Charles Alger (1836 - 1897). His daughter by his first marriage (Grace) and his daughter by his second marriage (Lucile) never married.

This is an amazing site you have put together! I am a Colbry from Maine, a decendant of William Colbry. We had the problem of locating other Colbry's because apparantly My great grandfather William broke away from the rest of the family and left little trace of his family. We had found several pictures of a man named Joseph and had wondered if that was in fact a brother. We had little idea there were however so many siblings in fact!! From the details listed on your web page you most likely already know that there are in fact a small number of Colbry's in Maine and several in New Jersey. I'd like to thank you for taking the time to research these events and facts. It would be interesting to see any pictures you may have of Joseph and his family. If you have any such pictures saved electronically feel free to upload them to my attached e-mail. Thanks again for your time and effort.

Stephen stayed in Virginia, and my grandfather grew up in Wytheville, Va. I was looking on your site because I now live in Indiana, and my grandfather told me that many Trinkle's had relocated to Indiana.

It turns out that my son, Robbie, is doing a project on Indiana history, and the Potawatomi Indians. My mother (who is a DAR) told me that Christopher Trinkle had been killed by an Indian, and the DAR's put a monument by his grave. Do you know if this is true? Or how he did in fact die? It would be neat if he could include this piece of history in his project.

Greetings Cheri! I'm visiting during my search for information on my Boley line. I think I may have a possible link to your Boleys.
My ancestor is William Boley Birth: 12 Feb 1817 in PA
Death: 15 Feb 1885 in Goshen Twp, Mahoning Co, OH .

I think my William might be the son of Valentine Boley born about 1793 in Robeson Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA. He died after 1850 in Ohio, USA.

Thanks for the great website!

We share Michael Dibert and Margaret Miller as "grandparents".
My 3rd Great grandmother was Catherine "Caty" Dibert married to Thomas M. Croyle. Their daughter Catherine Croyle married Martin Garn and their grand daughter, Bertha Belinda (Garn) Osborn was my grandmother. My husband and I just returned from a trip (we live in South/Central Washington state) to Bedford, Pennsylvania where we visited the History Center there. We also "traipsed" through several cemeteries....coming and going.
Want you to know.....you are doing such a marvelous job!

Hi,
I am looking for ancestors of Conrad Bernauer and his wife Maria Zuber. Conrad avoided the draft in Germany by taking his dead brother's papers and shiping off to America. I found the records of his pasage on the ship William out of Roterdam Holland. He arrived in Philadelphia on november 4,1817. In the manefest there was also
a Mdsitz Zuper and family listed. I am asuming that This is Maria's
family. In 1820 after serving three years to pay for their pasage they moved up state to Gains township in Tioga County. They were one of the first familys to take roots there.
In 1824 Mr and Mrs Zuber and their baby grandson were killed in their bed when a tree fell on their cabin during a storm. I have located their graves in the state game lands out side of Watrous Pa.
I ahd the help of the GGGGgrand-son of the man who helped the Bernauers bury their loved ones. The graves are located at The Latitude41 Degrees45.300 min.Longitude 77degrees31.320 min
I guess that I tell you this in hopes that you might have some more information about the Zubers or Bernauers that I dont have.
-sincerly yours,
Don Hughes

I have found obit of Barbara (maiden name Roush)born Feb 1800, wife of Abraham Keller, in Mennonites site, says Barbara died Apr 24, 1890 not 1892 as several say- "KELLER".-On the 24th of April, 1890, in Allen Co., Ohio, of old age and dropsy, Bar-bara Keller (maiden name Roush), at the ripe age of 90 years, 2 months and 1 day.wife of Abraham Keller, She was a very affectionate mother of ten children, of whom five are living. She lived in widowhood"27 years" and lived to see the fourth generation, not counting herself. She was a great lover of good reading. She subscribed for the GERMAN HERALD 10 years ago in winter, and took it eight years when her eyesight failed. She laid them away carefully and would often go and look them over and read them as much as she could. She was also very fond of the German Almanac. She got the first one when she subscribed for the HERALD, and was pre-sented with one every year until death took her away to her long home. She was a mem-ber of the U. B. Church. Buried at Allentown. Text: Psa. 116:15.

Hi there!

Thanks for researching all our relatives! We were researching Harry Galloway, and lo and behold you've done all the work for us. You've traced the whole line back to the old world. Harry's daughter Mozella married Russell Jones, and he's my grandfather.

I'm just not certain that Harry Galloway is indeed my ancestor. We know him as Harry L Galloway. We found him first in the 1920 census, which we know is him, because all the family names are there. Then I found him in the 1880 census as Harry Galloway. This is the Harry Galloway you have as the end of your Galloway tree, we believe, because the father's name is the same, Lafayette. The birth date in the 1880 census matches the 1920 census. The counties are the same, Lenawe. And the places the parents were born are the same in both censuses. Still, there could be more than one Harry Galloway with the same birth year in the same county with the same parent birth places.

Anyway, it was a great shock to see you'd found our whole Galloway line back to 1700 or so. Thank you,

Russell

Cheri - Great website and a real treasure for me in my search on the Boley family tree. I only started this genealogy work earlier this year, so it is all new and very exciting. It appears that my branch of the Boleys is in common with your family tree branching from Henry (Bolich) Boley (son of Johan Peter Bolich & Catherine RIES). As you know Henry and his wife Barbara Ann (HART) moved west to Utah in 1849. One of their sons, Henry Harts Boley (my Great-great-grandfather) and his wife Elizabeth Arsena (DAVIS) appear to have followed later. Anyway, the Boley family members are now scattered all over the West. I would love to know if you ever get anymore information on the Johan Peter Bolich family or his parents (Johan George & Catharine BOLICH)in PA.

Caught your site by accident, but I really like it. I'm descended from the Dibert line, though your line and mine don't intersect after Charles Christopher in the 1700s. You descend from his son Michael, I descend from his son Frederick.

I saw several other Dibert descendents reading your guest book, so to all you Dibert descendents from the Bedford area, I'm always glad to hear what you know/share what I know, so don't feel weird clicking on my addy and dropping me a line if you read this.

Hi Cheri,
It was great to come across your site and find a definite connection. You show George William Zuber married to Margret Aronhalt (second marriage for both). Margret had Mary Jane and Dean from her previous marriage to Jesse Sullivan. My grandmother is Mary Jane. Although she doesn't have a blood relation to the Zubers, she remembers her step-father George Zuber very fondly. Her father died when she was a year old, and Mr. Zuber helped raise her. It was nice to see his picture on the site as well. I have a few more stored away. Feel free to contact me.

I just happened to surfing around and came across my Grandfather name on a site that was linked to yours. You had one child listed for a Carl Bevingt, that name was Joan Boley. She is my Aunt, though I noticed you did not have her bothers and sister's listed. One of her bothers is my Father Howard Bevington, others include Rodney and a sister who died at a young age, her name is Colleen.
Just thought I would drop you this not and tell you it was great to show my children some of how are families are intertwined.

How I found this website searching for Galloway genealogy
Comments:
Hello, my name is Heidi. I live in Washington State, but I grew up in California. My genealogy is a little complicated since I was adopted (a long story!) I found my birthmother Betty Maxine Galloway (Nettles) in 1989. Since that time I have been researching her family lines. Her father's name was Robert Mansfield Galloway. He was born in Missouri in 1885. His parents were Mary Emma Kimball and Frank Barclay Galloway. I have been trying to find out more information on Frank Galloway bn. 1853 and I believe I might have found him among your geanealogy pages. Frank and Mary were married in Illinois and later ended up in northern California. Frank had a sister named Laura who was a nurse. I don't know if any of this rings a bell or not, but the information I recieved from the historical museum says he was from somewhere back east. I'm wondering if your Frank Galloway and Laura Galloway could be of the same Galloway family lines? I enjoyed looking through your site. Thanks for making this available.

Sincerely,
Heidi Pasqual

Also do you have Aunt Marcile's death date information? It is 27 Feb 1998 in St. Johns, Clinton Co., MI. Would you want to put in some of the unknown photographs to see if we can find out who they are - I am sure they must be Hannah, Caroline or Mary Ann. Hope to make a Heritage Album soon with all our information. Also Howard Berry Jr is on the WWII registry with photo if you want to put a link to that.

William Galloway, Rev. John Colby Galloway, Tyra B. Galloway, Rufus

descend from William through Rufus' mother, she was Sara Jane Galloway and married Tyra B. Galloway.

Comments:
I was so glad to follow your tree as I was going through my files and ran across some info from Bethel Reynolds dated 1994 at the latest. She is no longer at the address and I wanted to share the info with some of the Guffys but I see that you have her family all included. Could you please e-mail me her address or let me know what became of her? My address is Rt 2 Box 51, Cherokee OK 73728. I am descended from Alexander Guffy (1764) line.
