My name is Kim Kessler (818-480-3297) . I am producing
a talk show for Telepictures with our host, Christy
Haubegger. She is the founder of Latino Magazine and
is herself a Latino woman who was adopted and raised
by Caucasian parents. We are looking for families to
share their experiences with us. The show is a TV
pilot and WILL NOT air on television. When the show
gets picked up, if we do this topic, they will have a
choice of whether or not they care to be a part of it
at that time. Our show is entertainment as well as
educational. It is to be a positive experience.

My wife and I have been back from Kunming, China for about 5 months now with our first girl. We are going to start the process for a second child very soon. It is great to read about other stories and to see that we are not alone in our joy. Thanks for the great website. Dear Family,
Waiting for our second daughter (or a son maybe ?), I like to wander through the China adoption stories and to dream about my second angel, and about all these adoption stories scattered around the world. We adopted Mulan in December 2002, from Dian Jiang (Chong Qing). Our file for a second adoption is now on the desk of the translator. We expect a referral next year, end of the spring.

First of all, Eva is adorable and thank you for the opportunity to re-live those baby days. My daughter will be 6 a week from Sunday and although every day I'm more in love with her than the day before (is that possible??), I do miss those baby days and enjoy looking and reading about other parents' travels and children. Your website was wonderful and yes, I remember everything from Double Dog Dare Ya!

Eva is a very beautiful child. I have a goddaughter, Danielle, who was adopted from the city of Nanping, which is
in the Fujian province. I traveled with Danielle's mom to
China when she went to adopt Danielle in 1995. There were some unexpected delays in the adoption process, & we had to stay in Fuzhou for about 2 weeks. Nanping was a 3 hour train ride from Fuzhou. Danielle was one of the first children to be adopted from the Welfare Institute in Nanping. I wouldn't trade the whole Chinese experience for anything. I will be checking out your web page frequently. I will be looking forward to reading stories about your trip.

I ordinarily don't like to look at other people's web sites because I tend to wonder gee will my daughter look like this or that. Today, however, I was feeling especially anxious. I found your home page while searching for more information on adopting a child from China. I live in Georgia and have just started this quest. I am 30 now, since I've been 16 I kknew one day I would bring a baby home from China, and by the grace of God I will one day.
