My Great Grandfather, Peter Larsen, homesteaded in Bull Canyon, Arbon Valley, as did my Grandfather, Guy Larsen. I heard stories about how Bull Canyon got it's name; something about the government taking a heard of bulls through the canyon in their program to upgrade the quality of cattle in the west to help feed the soldiers. If anyone can varify that story, I would like to hear about it. We had a family reunion of the Thomas and Marie Lusk family at the Arbon School last summer and I was so excited to take my 5 children and 12 grandchildren back to the ranch I visited and loved so much as a boy. It was such a disapointment because my memories are of it being a green and well kept working ranch and farm, but now it's like a ghost town. Of course, it's been 50 years since my Grandpa sold it to the Sorensons and it's changed hands a few times since then. I don't think it's really been lived at since Grandma and Grandpa left. It was heart breaking to see it old and falling down. But, at least now my family can visualize the place I loved sooo much then and now. I'm looking forward to hearing from someone or maybe seeing a history and photos of Arbon on your web site.

This is a great site. I am from Aberdeen. I graduated in 1960. But, I had my appenix out in the old hospital, plus I was born there. I have lived in Aberdeen all my life until I got married. So I have a lot of history with Am. Falls. Plus, I have relation there. It is so neat to look back at some history and/or pictures. Keep up the good work.

In looking for information on my great-great-grandmother, I've been trying to find any vital documents on her children, hoping they gave some information about her. Several of her children went to Idaho, and some stayed in Cache Valley and I had been focusing on the latter. With all the good information I've found on the Idaho group, I'm going to switch over and start looking at them. You have a lot of great information (much better than Utah :-) Thanks!
