Hi, I have information on John Wilson and Mary Blair. The parents of Samuel Wilson. The Wilson family was originally from Scotland. Robert Wilson was born in Ireland and came to America at 9months old with his parents. They settled in PA. Robert met and married Mary Blair in PA. They moved to Muskingum, County, Ohio around 1810. Ebenezer was born on Dec 15, 1760 in Kent County Delaware. At age 17, he joined the Continental Army and served primarily in the Virginia South Carolina area under Mad Anthony Wayne for over 3 years. First of, we have a dual Thrash/Umstot connection in our family, first thru Michael Thresh / Catherine Umstot and John Thresh (Michael's brother) to Catherine's sister Rachel. Both marriages taking place in Hampshire/Mineral County 1823-24.

My grandmother, Margie Eliza Yoes b. 5 Apr 1881 was the second wife of John William Harvey Malone b. 25 June 1878.
