you have done an incredible amount of work. Thank you.
Will send you some more details on C.C.Cushing descendents of Pr. Wm. County.

Curious: have you come across any relatives that are descendents from slaves that were from any Cushings in
Virgina? I was thinking there could be but they are hard to trace since only recorded in slave roles not census
and often listed as "unknown" father or the slave holder
as the father.

What surname(s) are you researching?: Snow
Comments:
Daniel CUSHING Snow born 1787 in either Vermont (or Maine) We believe in the orange or Washington County area of Vermont. He married Sally townsend in 1817. We can trace their line to the present but can find no information on Daniels parents and the CUSHING connection in his name. We do not have his death date or area either -- his wife goes to live with a son by the 1880 Census.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I went through your listing but unable to find my great-great grandfather P. M. Cushing. I believe he arrived in the Pittsburgh, PA area in the late 1800s (1880?). He married Elizabeth and had a son Thomas. One of Thomas' children was Harry P. Cushing Sr. and he had a son Harry P. Cushing Jr., my dad. PM and Elizabeth are buried in very prominent gravestones in the old Catholic Cemetery on Penn Ave. in Pittsburgh. I would like to know where PM came from.
