Name: Debbie Nelson <nelsond@interquest.de> Date: 2000-02-14 Are you a Tarno cousin? no Oldest known Ancestor was John, William and Henry Tarnow Born "Near Wismar " Germany Comments:
My husband's Tarnow family settled in LaPorte County, Indiana. Two of the three brothers arrived in the US in 1885, while John and his family arrived in 1893. I have the passenger ship records and declaration of intentions for John. I am in the process of locating the ship records for William and Henry for I know the port of arrival and exact date. I have not found any family outside of the Laporte area, with the exception of one of William's children dying in FLorida. Debbie
