Enjoyed reviewing your family research. I'm hunting a John Daniel Canady, B. abt. 1812. Don't know his birth state. He married a lady 18 years younger than he was in S.C. about 1850, which leaves me wondering if he had a prior family some where else before showing up in Colleton Co., SC. These are Great, great grandparents. Have no luck finding John Daniel Canady prior to the 1870 census but I know they were in SC during the entire time of their marriage. Both died in S. C. If you ever run across my "lost" Canady, sure would appreciate a reply. Thanks and good luck to you in your search.

Hello, I found your page. I was looking for info on Blanks who m. into my Bell family. I was looking at your "old" Samuel Bell. He would be the age to be the father of my JOHN BELL, who was b. 1750'S--MAYBE. John is my ggg grandfather, and his first son was Samuel Bell, b. 1788.
My Bells may have lived a short time in SW PA. But I don't know how they got to KY. Could have gone the southern route through NC, and when I found your Blanks and Bells together, I got excited. "My Uncle Samuel Bell" m. Elizabeth Blanks, possibly her father was John Blanks, who li. in Kentucky. Could any of your family have moved north? I'm interested in your reply. I am just getting a web page going, and will eventually havy my Bell ancestors located on it. Thanks for listening and any help! I enjoyed your page so much, I have saved it to my Favorites. Barb

Hello,
You have a great site here. Thank you for all your hard work. My name is Jenny C. Thomas and I am searching for my Great-Grandmother Vancie Lee Cannady who married Charlie Rudolph Hardy. They lived in Laurinburg, Scotland County, NC but moved there from Brunswick County. They died within a couple of years of each other around 1928-1930. I spoke with their only remaining son Charlie Monroe Hardy born in 1916 who lives in Raleigh and he states that his father, Charlie, is buried in King's Cemetery in Laurel Hill, Scotland County, NC. He said that his mother, Vancie, wanted to be buried with her family in Leland, Brunswick County, NC. He said that Vancie had a sister who he thinks was named Melinda or Malinda who married a Hammonds and lived in Fayetteville. They had children named Weldon, Dennis, and Pearl. Do any of these people sound familiar to you? I would really like to find my link to the Lumbee Indian Tribe. I also have the surnames of Pitman, Isreal/Izzell, Norris, and Avant in my line. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Jenny C. Thomas
