it's a great site , but I'm trying to find information on Edward Middleton born abt. 1660 and died aft.1721 in Ditton, England. and he married Mary Abt.1690 in England, and she was born abt.1660. and they had four children, William DOB abt. 1695. Martha DOB.oct.1699. Mary DOB.oct.1699? Edward DOB. March 1705/06 all in Ditton England.I'm finding it very hard to get information on the family from over seas.

Her father, Alexander Middleton was the son of John Middleton of Aboyne. I am looking about doing very casual research to share with my own two daughters who, because they have all passed on, haven't met any of their Middleton relatives - and my knowledge of my Middleton family roots is far too limited. Anything you could share with me or any direction you could point me in would be most appreciated. <br> <br>Laurie

Hi there,i have just found this site.I am from Edzell village.My grandmother`s name is Marjorie de Costa but her maiden name was Wilkie.Her mother`s name was Middleton or grandmothers name was Middleton.I know they stayed up Glenesk at Haughend and at the Hillock and Greenburn cottage.My grandmother`s sister is also still alive and her married name is Mary Malin.From what they have said that their mother/grandmother is buried at old Fettercain grave yard.I am on an Oilrig just know but i can find out more info and get back in touch with you.I think we could be related and still staying in the area.I await for your reply. yours hopefully Kenny de Costa

I hope this is not an inconveience. I am presently doing my own Genealogy. My Grandparents and most of my ancestry is from Brechin and Kincardine. I came across your website and saw you had ancestors that died at the Brechin Infirmary-Brechin. This is a long shot for me but by any chance would you have any pictures of Brechin Infirmary? If so, I would be greatly appreciative of what you could froward me.

Can you help me to identify Margaret Middleton born 1817 died 1896 who at the 1881 & 1891 cencus lived at Braeside croft Fettercairn. She married William Glen 1821 to 1895 who possibly lived a Fordoun with his parents John Glen born sept 1786 married Jean Milne 1812.William and Margaret's daughter Mary Ann 13 Dec 1858 to 29 aug 1933 was my great grandmother married to Robert Findlay of Fettercairn born 23 nov 1845

I don't know if my line will lead to yours. I'm really just getting started. My father is Arthur Middleton, his father, Mac Rufus Middleton, his father, Richard Henry Middleton. Richard may be Mac's grandfather instead of his father. I'm doing this from memory.
