I believe one of my ancestral 2nd cousin's 4 times removed married Eugene Gumpert.I also have details of Mendel Gumperts death if you are interested in buying the certificates from the General Record Office the web address is here http://www.gro.gov.uk/ for the United Kingdom they cost seven pounds sterling.I have the correct GRO references and I can also provide you with aditional information about Mendel's life in England.

i am trying to research my maternal grandfather alexander gumpert. I do not have much information about him, he died before i was born. all of my mother's family is also deceased so i noone to go to for more information. all i know is he lived in newark nj for his adult life, married nora higgins around 1916 and had 2 sons ( edward and john) and 1 daughter (mary). i believe he was born in the late 1890's and died in the late 1940's. if you can send me any information about how i can further research the gumpert name, i'd appreciate it.
