certificate at our lady of good harbor catholic church as
Cecile Trahan(wife of Philibert Edward Baril).
Angeline Cecile Baril wife of Andrew Turlich. My grandmother
is Angeline Cecile Turlich wife of Manuel Gaspard Buras.
My father is Oscar Lloyd Buras. all above is deceased.
Trahan in french is pronounced like "Thron". I do not know where they came up with the "Trum" pronounciation.

Looking for Henry L. Harris (my grandfather). Don't know where or when he was born, nor the names of his parents. My mother said he was from Boston. All I have is a copy of a marriage certificate to my grandmother, Elinor (Ellenna)(Eleanor) Bell Rohmer (she changed the spelling of her first name from time to time). M certificate shows the marriage date of 3 October 1904 before a jp in Jefferson Parish in Louisiana. It would appear that when my mother was born barely 9 months later, he had left. My grandmother, in her anger, destroyed most reminders of him. Thus, I don't have much to go on. Any clues would be welcome. Thanks!

Mary Ann Coon married Ebenezer White about 1830 "Oneida Lake" NY. Have detailed info about the Whites into the 1600's including "Elder" John White one of the founders of Hartford CT. Have no more on Coon ancestry. My earliest Harris ancestor is Heman Walter Harris, his 3rd child was born 1818 Franklin Co Vt, believe he or father came from Wales. I found a Heman Harris 1810 in New Hampshire Census.
