My husband, Ken and I are searching for information on his ancestor Obed Wilson, who lived in Bingham in the 1800's. We know he was one of the pioneers of the town and we read the information in the Bingham early history about him. Do you have any other information about him or know where we can find any? We live in California, and hope to see Bingham one day, but for now we will search the internet. Thanks, Ken and Jerri Howell

I am trying to find information on my Father's relatives. I came across your website and was thrilled to find obituaries on my Great Grandfather Albion Clark and Great Grandmother Fanny G. Clark. By reading these obit's I found that I am related to the Gilman's and Cooley's on my Grandmother's side and the a Sophie Lombard on my Grandfather's side. My Great Great Grandfather was John L. Clark and died during the Civil War and I know where his grave is, but there are other Clark's buried there and I don't know if they are related. He is buried in the Fall Brook Cemetery. If you or anyone has any information on this, I would be great appreciated. Sophie his wife was part Indian and married before I believe so I don't know if that is her maiden name or 1st marriage name. I think she might be from Brigton Maine. Any information on her would be great too. This is really a great site and I'm planning a trip to Bingham shortly to look into more information on all these people I found that could be related to me.
Thank-you very much for all your hard work, I know you have helped me alot.
Mary

The site has proved very helpful in locating graves & other info. I am compiling my Baker Family geneology & I am tracing down the female lines as well as the male lines. I am descended through Abner - William - Julius - Albert - Shirley(Baker) Lambert. I've taken pictures of family gravestones & I hope to get in touch with Mrs Foster again & hopefully this spring, continue exploring the area for more gravesites.

What a wonderful website! My brother Glen told me about it. This is the first picture I've ever seen of my great-grandmother, Frances Sterling. My grandparents are Ellery and Alice Sterling. Ellery is deceased, but Alice is in a rest home, and Glen and I visited her today with printouts from the site. She gets confused sometimes, but we soon had her telling us stories of growing up on the farm. It was great having her engaged in the conversation. We then went and saw our father, Bill Sterling, who was born in Bingham in 1926, and shared the pictures with him. I've just sent the website address to his sister, Joyce Linden, who is also trying to compile a family history. She was all excited!
I look forward to visiting Bingham sometime. My brother and I live in Northern Virginia, where Alice and Ellery moved to find work in the depression. We're still here! It's a great place to live, but sometimes the rat race makes Bingham look great by comparison!
I showed this site to my wife Nancy, and stepdaughters Heather and Laura, and they enjoyed it. And I'm sitting here now with my son Matthew Sterling, who is 7 1/2, and it's great to be able to show him pictures of where his great grandparents grew up!
I recently read the novel Empire Falls by Richard Russo, which is about a small town in Maine. Can anyone tell me if this is what Bingham is like?
Thank you for keeping up such a great site. If anyone would like to write me, feel free!

Found your Bingham site very informational. Lots of good stuff here. I was looking for my ancestor's, Susannah Grover, husband Nathan F. Blunt, whom I found. Susannah died in 1846 of typhoid while in NY with Dr. Blunt. I understand he later married Elizabeth Leadbetter.
Thanks for all the work.
