I am wondering if it might be ppossible that your "John Stevens", son of William, might be our John Doss Stevens, husband of Ruth Ann Genoways....."

The 1810, Indiana birth is the same.

I am off of Ritty Crabtree.,and James Roberts Jr of KY and Va.She had 3 sons and one daughter Elizabeth.married a Ratliff.,in KY. Their child married a Bounds in Mo. Ritty is Cherokee. I did a DNA test and that brings out a lot of Sir Names.Ritty may have gone to Oh around 1840, leaving some of her children with Roberts Jr to raise in KY and Va. We are filling in the peices, and thanks to DNA testing with family DNA.

Brenda:
I am a decendent of Annie Jeannette Crawford and Robert Anderson (Alexander) Moffatt. My grandfather was William Alexander Moffatt who married Susanna Schaffer. My mother was Annie Jeannette Moffatt Boden, the second child of William and Susanna.

I would like to correspond with you in regards to some of your findings on the Moffatt and Crawford lines. I have been looking for their place of birth. I see that you show it as Drumshambo, Leitrim County, Ireland. Do you have any documentation on this?

Thank you in advance for you help and consideration in this matter. I would be very greatful for any help you can give.

Sincerely,

Anjeannette (Boden) Staley

Hi Brenda,

Elizabeth Skermer (Your ID: 14853) and Hypolite Emile Eperthener were my great grandparents. Their daughter,Leanore, was my grandmother. She would have been your John L. Eperthener's sister. I have some additional information on the Skermers back to 1545 in England; and also information on the Eperthener's back to about 1825 in France if you would be interested in it.

I knew that my grandmother, Leanore, had a brother named John that moved to Florida, but that was all that I had on him.

How are you related to the Skermer's and Eperthener's?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes,

Pat Adams

Hi!

What a terrific site you have here. I really enjoyed browsing.

I have a SEXTON link to Scott County, TN. and have not been able to find where some family is buried. Your records reflect some of my family. "Oliff" Sexton married Reuben Hurtt in Scott Co. in 1876. Her real name was Olive and she was daughter of John and Rebecca Buttram Sexton. Olive is my ggrandmother.

Rebecca (mother of Olive) died when Olive was young and John married sister of Rebecca, Jane Buttram Parker.

I am looking for the burial place of Rebecca, John and Jane Sexton. I don't see this information in your pages. Hubby and I did go to TN a few years ago and saw the HURTT cemetery. It is in very bad shape and wonder if more are not buried there than known.

Thanks for all this hard work. You have done great!

Best Wishes,
Maureen Brook
