I am very curious about our ancestry and my daughter, Stephanie, has done a little searching, even some of Durant Hatch Rhodes' slaves who took the name of Rhodes. Mrs Daisy Rhodes Porter[deceased] was a decendant of one of his slaves and would always call us her cousins because we used to all be like family.

My grandmother was Elizabeth Rhodes Humphrey. Her parents were Woodhouse Rhodes and Fanny Marshburn. His father was Henry Rhodes and mother was Emeline Hardison, so I guess we go back to the first Henry Rhodes who was born 1686 in Virginia?

I need some addresses that are not on the Southwest Rhodes Clan database to send the flyer/invite to. Last year I used the picture of Uncle Johnny, Uncle Ivey, and Papa Solomon. I would like to have another photo of the siblings of Durant Hatch Rhodes if possible. Our reunions have mostly been the decendents of Solomon and Cora Florence Rhodes with decendents of Ivey and Johnnie coming to join us. Papa, Mabry Rhodes(son of Solomon) used to go annually to Rhodestown to a family reunion there too.

So far as I know this is my oldest ancestor that I can trace back, on my father's side. I have been trying to
find out my great grandmother's maiden name on my mother's side, her married name was Concetta Campagna, but no luck
at all so far. I'll keep trying though. Honestly, I was
beginning to think my father's ancestors had all been in
