I have visited South Bennett Cemetery. It was the middle of the summer and really to warm to stay. I would have like to clean up around the headstones. Visiting from Oklahoma we did not have any tools. It sad to see Great-Great Granddad Joseph headstone overtaking by weed. I am the Grandduaghter of Edward Elijah Benningfield.

I am interested in the J F Wheat (photo did not appear) you have listed as being buried in Bennett cemetery. It is believed he may be connected to the Major P. Wheat and Samuel A. Wheat that I am researching. They were born in Mills County 1873 and 1881. Major and Samuel married FOX sisters.
