William Neusel, born 1827. Village unknown. Near Marburg perhaps.
His sister was Victoris Neusel born 1829, married an Emmendorfer.
All lived in St. Louis Missouri in 1880.

We are trying to trace Louis Lehmann b 1849, wife Marie Augusta Schroeder b 1851 from Mecklenburg-Schwerin who emigrated to the US around 1890 with two sons Herman Frederick b 1877 and Charles William b 1880. They settled in Stamford, Nebraska. Any help is much appreciated.

Our family has never been able to find birth or death records in Germany despite the fact that my grandfather A.P. The furthest my father has traced back the family is Karl Jacob Hundrieser, born 1793. His father was Jacob. Original spelling of Hundrieser was Hundedressur, I guess it has something to do with the carts used in the salt mines around Salzburg....

Any ideas on solving our family mystery. My grandparents were very hush on the family. It appears A Widower Michalski married a widow Dorsz. Some of their children married each other. Rose Dorsz married a Michalski that was on the police/fire dept. in Detroit, MI (1920 ish). A Rosalie Michalski married a Dorsz. There were Dorsz siblings maybe Clare, Stella, Theodore. There were some Frances'/Frannis' on one side or the other. ????? Wonderful sight. Can't even comprehend how much time has gone into it. Thank you.

I find your page very interesting. My Lehmann ancestor was Carl Ludwig Gustav Lehmann. He was born at Landsberg an der Warthe, Prussia, in 1825. He immigrated to Indianola, Texas in 1856. Coming to Texas with him were two sons: Paul Rudolph Lehmann and my grandfather, Max Lehmann. I have all the Gustav family information to this date, but have been trying to connect with a possible link to his family in Germany. He surely had many siblings. Have been unsuccessful, but keep trying. Perhaps someday? Thanks

I have a verbal family traditions, but as yet cannot trace
names back to the 1731 "Vertriebenen Salzburger".

Nice site. I will be up near Whittemore in a couple of weeks for a family event and can stop by the Whittemore cemetery to take a picture of Friederike Bell Lehmann's grave if you would like. She is buried next to her daughter in the Schultz family plot. Her name is on the back side of the tall marker.
