What did you find useful on my site? Wright descendants
Comments:
Great site! I am a descendant of Jerrott Wright? Gosh, genealogy is confusing! My grandfather was Archie L. Fisher and my grandmother was Ethel Morgan. Your chart is HUGE, and I confuse easily. In any case, you seem to have all of Archie's mother's descendants. I am wondering where you got it, but not insisting on knowing. Just curious. I spent most of my adult life in Elgin, IL. and now am happy in the embrace of Onarga, IL where my grandparents Archie and Ethel spent their entire lives. Thank you for all the work you have done!

What did you find useful on my site? Everything - I'm inspired!
Comments:
Hi Greg,
After I sent you the email yesterday, I found your website - I'm blown away! My mother was so thrilled you have info 2 generations back from William Henderson (#57). I don't think I ever would have found it. It made me so happy to see my late Grandmother has an entry too (Annette Henderson #8830). Once I get my info straight, I'll send you some data I have on the Hendersons/Groffs. I do know that my mother has confirmed that Henderson NY was actually named for another Henderson unrelated to Jacob (a wealthy landowner from Albany), and that man never set foot in the town named for him. We were disappointed to find that out. On the bright side, you are descended from another Revolutionary War Vet through Peter Groff (#8818). His father (named Peter as well) apparently served as a Lieutenant in the Continental Army. I'm in the process of confirming that.
Many, many thanks for making all your hard work available to the rest of us!!
Sincerely,
Gloria Leous

Hi, Greg;

Neat stuff. First, I noticed that it is family history that some part of the family came from Wales. That is what my Dad, Maurice V. Foose also told me. But, while I was living in Europe in the mid-70s, I had a friend that was from Wales, and she told me that Lamberson was not a Welsh name...just thougth I'd pass that along before I forgot it...of course names changed when folks entered the U.S. For example, in 1731 when my GGGGGrandfather entered at Philadelphia his name was changed from Fuss (or Fu"beta", where the "beta" character is "sz") to Foose. Fuss is "foot" in German...

Greg, Your site is very interesting.
I'm researching the Lambertson Family. I believe I am a decendant from John and Percilla Lambertson. I have a copy of a letter typed by C.H Lambertson in 1921 that has information going back three generations before John and Percilla. I would be happy to share this with you and provide any information I can to help track the Lambertson clan. Contact me anytime at the email address above.

I have been researching my husband's family (Fertic) and suddently became interested in my family, particularly my father's side, the Lambertson's. I found the lambertson.net site, could not figure out how they connected and questioned my father Donald Edward, Sr only to find my Grandfather, Roy F, had a half brother and his son, Bob, created the Lambertson site. I'd like to know how the surname's connect and I'm trying to find out more about my Great Grandfather (Roy Franklin's dad) and his many 'other' families. My Uncle in Oregon (Paul) and his wife are Latter Day Saints and they encourage family roots research. My Aunt Dixie (Paul's wife) has been researching the Lambertson family tree for at least 20 years and I plan to visit them in Oregon this next Spring to learn more. I'd be interested in any info on the connection and also any info about my Great Grandfather (don't even know his first name). I like your site and your encouragement. I'll do anything I can to help in your research. Our Fertic site URL is FERTIC.NET.

I am trying to find the parents of my great grandfather, James H. Reeves, born in Illinois in 1861. Married my great grandmother Sarah Moe in Kendall County, Ill. I am having a hard time figuring out the different Reeves families in Illinois during this time frame. I'll check back to your web site in the future. Looks good.

What did you find useful on my site? Isley information
Comments:
Thank you for the Isley information. I've been working with Rex Isley trying to document ALL of Malachi's descendants. Your site has definitely filled in many, many family members. My database already had over 3,000 Isley family members. I do have an Isley Family web site. At this time, it does not have any gedcoms listed. I hope to add those soon on my FTM site. My Isley site is: www.geocities.com/isleyfamilies.

Again, thank you for the information I was missing!

I am glad someone has tackled the task of putting or linking all the Lamberson / Lambertson families on one site. I am willing to contribute the Lamberson lines I have gathered who descend from Lawrence and Christina Fite Lamberson. I look forward to checking back often.
