I am looking for information on the descendants of Herman and Louisa Kemkes. They homesteaded in Sask. but I am not sure of the location, near Saskatoon, I believe. The came back to Ont. in 1917 and left their 2 daughters there, probably they were married by then. They had a daughter named Sylvia who married a Jas. Bradshaw and I would like to get Sylvias obituary, she died I believe in 1983. The other sister was Katie who married a Allen but that is all I know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Louisa would have been my G. Aunt. Annabelle Holley, Ont.

I live in Ontario and need the assistance of someone in Saskatoon where I recently found that a neighbor and boyhood chum of mine died in an accident 14 June 1984. I suspect that there was an article (at least an obituary) that appeared in your Saskatoon newspaper, but I have no way of following up. Do you think that there is someone in you SGS society who could look this date up on mfm. and electronically mail me a copy of the ob. for DAVID RANCE LANG-FORD BRICKER who is bur. Woodlawn Cemetery, Saskatoon. I am a past member of the OGS and was a very active volunteer of the OCFA transcribing program for many decades. I'm looking for an obituary and/or any info on my great grandmother Agnes Bryning Cresswell who married Hugh Howey and they farmed near Pontex, Saskatchewan where she died about 1937.
