I'm not a Baysinger researcher or family member but I came across the following in the course of preparing a registry of former residents of DeWitt, NY:
Reaves "Ribs" Baysinger and Angeline Haight Baysinger lived at 108 Cornwall Dr. by 1942. Born in Doyletown, OH, on 2-22-1902, Mr. Baysinger graduated from Syracuse University in 1924 after playing three years of varsity football. He played one season in the NFL for the Rochester Jeffersonians in 1924 as an offensive end, and coached the SU freshman basketball team to a perfect 23-0 record in 1927-28. He served the University from 1928 until 1948 as a teacher, administrator, and coach--and left after two seasons as head football coach. The family moved to Albuquerque, NM, and Mr. Baysinger was on the staff of the University of New Mexico from 1950 to 1954. The couple then resided in Jacksonville, FL, where Mr. Baysinger was the director of admissions at the Bolles Military School, from 1955 until his retirement. Mrs. Baysinger was born 2-21-1904, and was a native of PA. She died In November, 1985, while residing in Hilton, NY, and Mr. Baysinger died on 12-4-1994, at age 92. They had: Capt. Reaves H. Baysinger, Jr., who was born in Norwich, NY, on 4-16-1926, was a star quarterback at both Syracuse University and the US Naval Academy, (Class of 1949), earned a bronze star as a USN officer in Korea and Vietnam, survived a fatal plane crash in July, 1954, and died in February, 1972, and Dr. Robert H. Baysinger, who married Marilyn Barnes, was a physician, and lives now in Rochester.

My grandfather is the farthest back that I know. Fred Baysinger, lived in Fredonia, KS. He died before I was born in 1971 and I don't know much more about him. My father, grandmother and grandfather lived in California for a few years, probably in the late 50's. My father is Daniel Lewis Baysinger (b. 6/30/44) and I'm Geoffrey Lewis Baysinger (b. 6/18/71). My grandmother remarried awhile after Fred Baysinger's death, becoming Julia Richardson. Since my father was an only child and my grandfather died young I don't have contact with any other Baysingers besides my parents. As a child I lived in Wichita, KS where there was another Baysinger family (owned a policy supply store). Since then my parents and sister's family now live in Oklahoma City. My wife and I live near Boulder, CO. Would be interested in seeing where in the tree we sync up.

Your information is quite similar to what I have, perhaps a few things I have that I haven't found on here yet. I have some information on Valentine and Susannah in GERMANY. My father is Ernest Franklin Baysinger. Johan Peter is my 4th Great Grandfather. We need to communicate. Maybe we can tie in all the Bassingers who seem to come from Rowan Co. North Carolina. My husband's name is Robert H. Lubker. He was born in Nebraska. His grandfather, Henry Lubker, came to the United States as a boy of 12 arriving with his parents, and sisters and brothers first in Quebec, Canada. From there they went to Illinois for abt six years, then going to Nebraska. They left Schleswig Holstein, Germany, according to all their records. This would have been about 1867. We don't know exactly where in Schleswig Holstein, Germany. Is there any connection with your Lubker branch ? Most of my husband's Lubker relatives seem to still be living in the Saunders County, Nebraska area. As years have gone by some of them have moved to Iowa, and for awhile there were branches in Dakota Territory (later South Dakota). We would appreciate your input, and thank you so much.
