Hello,

I'm looking for information about my G G Grandpa Struve. I've seen his first name as either Charles or Carl, and was born around 1813. I'm not positive he was born in Lippe-Detmold, but I know he lived there when his children were born (1842-1854) and prior to their emmigration to USA in 1858. I don't know when he died. They had four children, Eliza (Elise), Adolph [my gg grandpa], Wilhelmine (Wilhelmina) and Herman (Hermann).

I'm also looking for any information about his wife, Wilhelmina (Wilhelmine, Minna, Amina). She was born around 1824, but I don't know her maiden name, or anything else about her, other than she was born in Prussia.

Im having trouble tracing the Kirkland line back past William H. Kirklands Father,Hugh Kirkland. I know that William H. Kirkland went on to become an Arizona Pioneer. He and his wife, Missouri Ann (Bacon) Kirkland were the first white couple to be married in Arizona territory and the list goes on. I hope to be able to trace back alot further, I'm just not looking in the right places I guess. Good luck with your research.
